Hello! My name is Ashley and I have always had a special place in my heart for animals, been a dog lover and owner since I can remember. My hubs Kev and I moved from Tx in 2018 to Oregon! Before we got our golden doodle Indy, we started watching dogs on Rover in Texas and have been doing it for over 4 years now! We enjoy it so much and so does our dog. She gets along with all and just wants to be friends, never has met anyone she didn’t like. :-) We live in a dog friendly home with a fenced in front and backyard for your dog to play in! (no stairs, family room, lots of space for dog beds/blankets) walking distance from a park and within a family friendly neighborhood. My husband and I have very flexible schedules so can walk/take out/ and play with whenever! On the weekends we’re also free to spend time with your lovely pet! Your dog will receive double undivided attention from us. Whether your pet wants to lounge on the couch, or go for a run or a hike. We will provide whatever they need. I love being active, going for walks around Portland, hiking and making dogs feel loved and special. And of course...I will send all the pictures of your dog having the best time!! *Bonus* we are a 15 min drive to and from the Portland airport. & can drop you off if needed! Or you can leave your car here & Uber. Your fur baby will receive love with belly rubs and cuddles. They will feel pampered and spoiled. Each dog is different so please let me know any quirks of your bestie so I know what best suites them. We look forward to meeting you and your dog! No breed preferences. We love them all and have taken care of them all. :) Any details about your pet so that I can ensure their overall comfort in your absence. Diet, medications or rules that they follow in your home? Can they sit on couch or bed? Any behavioral issues such as social anxieties with other people or animals, their usual routine and level of activeness (example-can they handle a hike or would a simple walk around the park suffice?) Potty trained, in the middle of crate training, not trained at all? We’re good with all levels.
A typical day
We can go on walks around the neighborhood, to the park, and will also have a front and backyard to play and go potty in! If your dog likes to hike, go to dog parks we can also do those fun activities as well. Or maybe you have an older dog who just wants to chill... they will get all the snuggles from us. :-)
