Hello, I have over ten years of experience with my own dogs and have fostered multiple dogs throughout the last year. I am thoroughly experienced with dog behavior and obedience. I have three large dogs and often am fostering a forth. I treat all dogs in my care just as I do my own. If you're on rover.com looking for a dog walker or someone to come check on your fur baby, then I know you want the best care for your animal possible. I recently left a decade long career to become a stay at home mom. I understand how difficult and even anxiety inducing it can be to manage a full time (or more than full time) job and also make sure your dog is receiving the love and attention it needs. I wish I would've known about this service when I was still in the work force! What a safe and easy way to find someone trustworthy and reliable to pet sit, check on, or take your dog out for a walk! Ashley is a great human all around. She is a great friend, mom, wife and dog mom. She is very passionate about rescuing dogs and is continually seeking opportunities to help out where she can. If she can’t rescue a particular dog that has touched her heart then she does what she can to spread the word to help that dog find a home or she donates money to their cause. I adopted two kittens five months ago and the day after I brought them home we received a surprise package from Ashley with a lifetime supply of kitty treats and many toys! She not only has big heart for dogs, but she loves all animals and spoils them any chance she gets. If you are looking for someone to care for your dogs then Ashley is definitely the person you are looking for!
Ashley Chase has been a pet owner since she was a small child, and loves animals. She believes in treating her pets as part of the family, and provides a high level of care and commitment to each one. She gives them her time and attention daily, and works on training and behavior with excellent results. Ashley has researched and determined the foods with the highest level of nutrition to provide for her pets, and takes them to visit their veterinarian regularly for check ups and necessary shots, and is very responsible about their care.
Ashley fostered our golden retriever when our family moved to Hawaii and couldn't bring him with us. We were so grateful that she took such good care of him and treated him like her own until he was adopted by a nice family who trained him to be a therapy dog.
Ashley is so enthusiastic when it comes to dogs! She is so fun and loves her dogs as much as her kid! She is very reliable and always on top of the game. Your pets will never lack attention as long as Ashley is around. I will continue to use her and you won't be disappointed if you allow her to be a part of yours and your pets lives! We love Ashley!

I like to learn as much as I possibly can about a dog! The more info I have the better. Generally speaking I like to know your dogs age and temperament. I also like to know if your dogs energy level. Would your dog benefit most from an intense game of fetch or would he/she prefer I spend time cuddling? Does your dog have a favorite toy? Or maybe your dog doesn't like toys at all and just prefers sitting next to a friendly human and having a quiet chat and maybe a head pat? My experience with dogs has taught me that every dog is different. The more info I have about your fur child, the better!
A typical day
I will walk your dog close to your home. Whether it be around your neighborhood or at a nearby trail or park. That will be determined by your dogs age, comfort level with other dogs, and how your dogs leash work is. Essentially I will take your dog wherever you and I agree is best. If you already have a route you like to take when you're walking your dog I can do that. If your dog is learning how to behave on a leash I will suggest I walk him/her close to home or somewhere that there are minimal distractions. This way I can assist in beginner leash work. If your dog is a leash pro we can go somewhere more exciting that way your dog enjoys mental stimulation while he/she also receives a bit of excersise.
