Pet care experience
I've been around extra large dogs my whole life. Growing up, my parents never had any less than three dogs in the house at any given time, totaling always to over 250 lbs between the three of them. I've lived with retrievers, mastiffs, and rottweilers and have recently taken to sitting for and falling in love with bully breeds. I don't discriminate, though, so anything with fur and four legs is what I love most. Now that I've finished up school, I have a full-time job, but no other commitments. I got a Nellie, Golden Retriever puppy a few months ago and we're very happily living and loving life together. I am still a very active person, so I enjoy running and I can't wait until Nellie is mature enough to run with me. I have ample free time, flexible hours at work, and an obsessive love for dogs!

Elmo's stay with Ashley was awesome! Before dropping him off she let me have the dog meet her and her pup so we'd know they'd get along. She asked all the right questions and was very prepared to handle the handful that is my corgi. She took excellent care of him and sent lots of pictures, in which he always looked very happy! After I took him home he moped around the house because he missed being there and even tried to drag me back to the car on our walk later, trying to go back! I highly recommend Ashley for dog boarding. If I could have given more than 5 stars, I absolutely would have.

I LOVE large breeds...and extra large breeds, while we're at it. I'd like to know if a dog has separation anxiety or if the dog isn't okay with other dogs. If the dog isn't great on a leash, I'd also appreciate knowing that. If he or she likes to run, let's go for a run. If the dog needs me to feed him or her kibble by kibble, let me know and he/she will get what they need.
A typical day
My neighborhood boasts a beautiful fenced park with different runs for large and small dogs. It's within 300 yards of my house and my pup and I visit on a nightly basis. If your dog is chilling with us, he or she will come along if it's okay by you! On walks, Nellie and I go for about a mile or two or until she gets tired, but our community is well-lit and paved. Outside of the community, I just stick to areas I feel safe in.
