Pet care experience
I've lived almost my whole life surrounded by animals (the one year I spent without a pet was terribly sad) and I've always loved them. As a sitter, I make sure to put the animals' comfort and care first and am happy to provide updates to the family at whatever frequency requested. I love going for walks or hikes with the dog(s) and am overjoyed to play with them and give them attention. I'm a very caring sitter and pets tend to love me right away. My family and I have five cats of our own who we shower with love.

Ashley was awesome taking care of my pup while I was gone. She gave me frequent updates and pictures while I was away which made me feel at ease that my dog was in good care. Would highly recommend her!
I've lost count of how many times we have had Ashley watch our furkids but yeah she's awesome.
We knew we had a good sitter when we arranged to have her stay a second time and when she came over to pick up the key again the pets clearly recognized her and greeted her excitedly!
Ashley was quick to respond to texts, followed all instructions, and sent pics. Pets seemed like they had been well loved when we returned :)

I like to know if a dog has any adverse reactions to people or things. (Such as if they always bark at big dogs or if they will get aggressive for any reason.)
A typical day
I love going on walks or hikes with the dogs I care for. If your dog has a normal walking routine, I tend to prefer to take them along their usual routes. If not, I love taking them to parks such as Helen Putnam and Spring Lake, or even just around the neighborhood if it's good for walking. (Don't worry, I'm very good at avoiding the heavy poison oak areas!)

I'm currently working part-time so two days a week I will need to be gone for 8-hours a day, and one day a week for 4 hours. I prefer advanced notice but can sometimes do same-day stays.
