Pet care experience
Since the age of five I've taken care of our family rescue dog, Curly. He averages about four walks a day with lots of play time and Dingo bones built in to his schedule. Additionally, throughout my time as a student at Drake University in Des Moines, IA, I took care of our live english bulldog mascot, named Griff, every Friday afternoon. I am a patient, energetic, animal-loving care provider. Slobber? No problem. Giving treats (with your permission of course) let's do it! No matter how "ruff", the conditions may be, I'm happy to gear up so your pets can enjoy an active, healthy lifestyle. Organizational skills, transparent communication, and dependability are three of my strengths vital to this role. Thank you for your consideration!

Ashley cared for me and my sister's dog, Bella over the Easter holiday while our family traveled out of state. She was not only very loving to our sweet girl, but also very communicative and responsible when Bella did not eat her dinner (sometimes she gets anxious when we leave). 10/10! We definitely be contacting Ashley in the future!
Ashley is simply incredible with dogs! You can see her with my Golden Retriever, Sadie in her pictures. Sadie absolutely loves Ashley because of her kind demeanor, loving spirit and playful attitude! She has helped me with Sadie on many an occasion, taking her on walks, wearing her out with play sessions and even puppy sitting for an afternoon when she was a puppy. I would absolutely trust Ashley to watch Sadie while I was on vacation and love it when she walks Sadie! If her affinity for dogs doesn't convince you, let her reliability and responsibility assure you that your furry friend will be in the best hands. Ashley is always on time, always delivers and gives her all at everything she does! You will be thrilled you selected her for your pet care. PS: Sadie is always exhausted after she plays with Ashley, she plays with Sadie and mentally stimulates her with games and other things! Sadie is always snoozing by the time I get back. Ashley is very dedicated when it comes to caring for dogs. In her previous job as a Student Ambassador at Drake University, part of Ashley's responsibility was to take care of the live Bulldog mascot, Griff. During Ashley's shifts, she would take Griff out on multiple walks and make sure he was fed and had enough water multiple times a day. Ashley took this job seriously and did it with joy and great responsibility. Every time Ashley meets a dog, she loves to make sure it is taken care of and receiving all the love and attention it deserves. Ashley gets very discouraged to see animals that are not being taken care of properly, and she believes all animals, especially dogs, deserve to be loved and given a good life. Ashley would be an excellent dog walker.
