Pet care experience
Hello! I have experience with house and pet sitting for multiple families. I've taken care of dogs, cats, fish, birds, lizards, even a bunny. House sitting as well where I'd make sure your alarms are set, trash bins go to the curb, mail and deliveries are brought inside, water plants, ensure litter box is clean and of course pets are fed and cared for. I am also a nanny of 9 kids across multiple families and also work in deliveries. I currently have a turtle and a cat myself but have lived with cats and dogs over many years as well. I regularly take care of 5 cats and 2 dogs and 3 houses. I enjoy taking dogs on walks and am comfortable giving pets medication when prescribed or taking them on their vet visits. I love animals and I feel it's the right time to advertise my petcare services. I don't board because I live in an apartment. I can stay overnight with your pets or just pop in twice daily to take care of them.

Ashley has cared for both my children and our cat for years when we are out of town. She is exceptionally attentive. She takes the time to play with our cat, make sure he is safe and inside at night and well fed. She is very dependable and has helped me out many times on short notice. Ashley is highly recommended. She has done in-home dogsitting for me several times, including for a full month when I was out of the country. During that trip one of my dogs became very ill. Ashley was proactive and relied on her best judgment in taking my dog to the vet several times, monitoring my dog's health closely, and even paying out of pocket when she felt it necessary. Ashley kept in contact with me even though I was in a different hemisphere, and was genuinely worried for and caring to my dog. When Ashley comes to my house now, my dogs run to greet her work an enthusiasm that even I don't receive. She is kind, trustworthy, and clearly loves animals. I cannot say enough good things.

I check on pets to make sure they have fresh food and clean water and clean whatever needs to be cleaned along the way. I also make sure doors are locked and alarm is set, for those who utilize it to ensure the safety of the property as well. On first visits I like to bring a toy and a treat to say hello and want to make sure first and for most that both the pets and their owners are comfortable and feel safe with me.

I don't really have breed preferences but I would like to read informed if they tend to bite and what you as a pet owner usually do for prevention. I also think it's best the first interaction with a pet is in the company of the dog or cat owners so the pets can feel more calm.
A typical day
I can take your dog on walks, take to a vet if needed, dog park if requested and practice commands with them and give treats as rewards for good behavior. They will also get lots of love and scratches behind the ears or belly rubs.

Availability
Daily availability is pretty open. I work day and night shifts with kids or driving jobs but I’m always able to make the twice daily pet visits.
