Pet care experience
*Note for August: Would love to accept your pet, but can only take in periods of 1 week or less!* I grew up on a farm in south florida raising dogs, cats, horses, chickens, etc and have over a decade of animal care experience. Living in DC, I miss my dogs a whole lot, and decided to use my animal care skills to help out my neighbors in the DMV! I am prepared to care for your pet in any way possible, from daily drop ins to walks and overnight boarding.

I live a short walk away from both Rock Creek Park and a large dog park, ensuring that your dog will have a lot of outside time if they would like! I also have reliable transportation, so I will be on time and attentive to pets’ needs that require travel (such as a daily walk). I am equipped to handle dogs of any size, and will be sure to keep pet owners updated with pictures and texts regarding their pet as desired.

Any important feeding instructions, medication instructions, or aversions the pet may have (are they apprehensive about other dogs? Can’t resist a squirrel? Etc.) is always great to know ahead of time
A typical day
Definitely go on several walks throughout the day, with the longest walk in the morning to avoid the heat. Throughout the week or weekend, we’ll hit the local parks, play with toys, and take plenty of pictures to send to the pet parents :)
