Pet care experience
I have never gone any amount of time not having some sort of pet. I just love all animals! Most of my experience comes from personally owning all sorts of pets; however, I have worked in an Animal Hospital as well. I worked as a kennel caretaker for a while, so I gave all the animals their basic care and needs. I also looked after animals after surgeries and I administered medications. I also cared for a few dogs with disabilities. Animals have always been my passion. My friends and family trust me with their fur babies and I always make sure to give them my best care. I am in tune with the needs requested from the owner and I will give your fur baby all of my love and care.

Rubeus came back so tired and happy from his stay with Ashley. Would definitely have him stay with her again!
Ashley and her family, both two legged and four legged, were a blessing for Oreo while we were away. I feel like she was an appreciated part of the family while she was there. Ashley is very chill, but also very accommodating. She was not bothered at all by the 3 different daily pills we give Oreo. She was always responsive when I checked in or had a question. She also had a back yard, which is also nice as a play area. I would use Ashley again without question.
Ashley has been an animal lover as long as I’ve known her. She’ll treat your fur babies with as much love and attention as if they were here.
I lived with Ashley for several years. The love she has for pets is a rare one. She cares for them like theyre family. She goes above and beyond for any pet. I always thought working with animals had to be her calling in life because it comes so natural for her. She helped me raise two of my dogs, and the energy and attention she puts into them is heartwarming. This is definitely the job for her. No doubt!

* Your dog has to be okay with cats - I have 2 of them! The cats will not bother your dog. If your dog needs a short stay and is a little iffy around cats, then the cats can be put in their own area away from the dog, but I'd rather not do that for an extended amount of time. * Your dog needs to be able to get along with other dogs. Sometimes I have multiple dogs during a stay. Plus I have two dogs of my own. * I have an 11-year-old boy, so the dog has to be good with children. * Does your dog have any aggression or habits? * Does your dog need medications or special instructions for anything? * Does your dog like to ride in the car? * Is your dog ok to roam the house if I ever need to leave for a little while? If your dog needs to be crated then you must supply the crate. (Your dog will never have to be crated for an extended amount of time.) * Please let me know if there are any other important factors that I need to be made aware of before you drop your baby for his/her stay.
A typical day
There is a dog park near my house that we could go to if you're ok with that. Also, I have a pretty big fenced in backyard, so if your dog loves to play outside, then I would love to go out there and play with them. There is also a nice area to walk with a paved path. If you love to hike with your dog, I wouldn't mind doing that as well! I love to hike and be outside. It's just whatever you and your baby like to do.
