I am a 30 year old female that has a full time job. I am responsible and will never cancel last minute because of a football game I got tickets to or spontaneous camping trip with my BFF's. I moved to the Columbia area in In May to work At the University and I booked a dog sitter while I was looking at homes for sale with my fiancé. . I had two college students cancel for various reasons. I do not want that happening to you. I have an 11yr old male dachshund named Lucas and a 6yr old dachshund names Bonnie. They are adorable, photogenic and sleep in my bed. I adopted Lucas from a shelter when he was about a year old and Bonnie is also a rescue. I offer in home, yours or mine, care that will be the same as I would provide my baby. I have been a foster parent working with a dachshund rescue for three years as well as the Waco Humane Society while I lived there. I am the go-to-sitter for all of my family and friends. I live in a large home, a large yard with a lake and doggie stairs everywhere (dachshunds have small legs and known for back problems). I love small and large breed dogs. My furniture is dog friendly and I love snuggles. I prefer adult dogs who are potty trained since I do have carpet in most of the home. I have access to a dog park close to my home and if your dog is used to dog parks, I am very willing to take them there. Any dog I babysit will need to bring a leash, food and instructions for care. I want to make sure your dog is as comfortable as possible.
