I have been around dogs, living with and caring for them for over 10 years. I currently have a toy Aussie, Pearly, who is a joy to be around. She loves fetch and gets along with all dogs and people. She can hold her own around big pups! She is two years old, unfixed and fully vaccinated. Pearly has her Canine Good Citizen and is in training to be a therapy dog. We live on 25 acres (with a fenced area) in the Applegate Valley and have river access. It is an active dog's dream! I recently discovered that pups can get out of my fenced area, so your dog must have good recall and not be a runner. I also charge a $25 cleaning fee for stays of 4 or more days. This can be added on to your booking or adjusted to the daily rate. If your pet gets sick in my home and/or I have to take your fur baby to the vet, I will request additional payment. I have experience with various-sized and aged breeds, including Aussies (my favorite!), St. Bernard's, Golden Doodles, Catahoulas, Labs, Pits, and Huskies to name a few. I have even helped with basic training on a litter of eight Pit-Bull/Mastiff puppies. I am comfortable around more than one dog and dogs of different breeds, ages and sizes. I have lived with and cared for multiple dogs. They tend to be my favorite roommates-they always do their dishes! I've learned how essential it is to read their behaviors so you know when they want to play, walk, go outside, are hungry or simply need rest. Each pet requires unique care and I have the skills to provide your pet with the best care they deserve. I always care for animals with lots of love and enjoy spending time outside with dogs to bond and expend some extra energy! I am comfortable administering medication or tending to any special needs your pet may have- just please let me know. Caring for a pet is an important job and I have the skills necessary to help keep your pet happy and healthy while you are away. Please inform me of any allergies or health issues in advance. If a vet visit is required, I will charge for mileage and time. I am flexible with bookings and understand that things happen in life. I also have wide availability. I am self-employed, so flexibility and availability are two of my strongest suits. I am more than happy to come during work hours or any off-hours! Feel free to message me for same-day services as I may be available, especially if you are located nearby. For overnight stays, I am willing to travel a further than my walk/drop-in 15-20 mile radius. I will be fair and competitive with rates on longer stays and for multiple pets.
