My name is Ashley, I am a zoology major at Humboldt State University. I have a passion for animals and science. I absolutely love animals of all kinds and have lots of experience working with animals. I worked in a grooming salon for almost 4 years, I was an adoptions counselor at the San Diego Humane Society for a bit as well, and now I work at Petco! I've volunteered at a local cat rescue and a local dog rescue, and also had an internship at Lions, Tigers & Bears, an exotic animal sanctuary in San Diego. With my work and internship, it's safe to say that my life revolves around animals! I love reading, hiking, skateboarding, traveling, listening to music, going to art galleries, and getting coffee. I would love to come meet you and your fur kids! Previous experience dog sitting family and friend's dogs, as well as working at the Humane Society, a pet salon and a volunteer at a various animal rescues. Why I love dog sitting I have always had at least one dog in my home. I currently have two pups of my own, a German shepherd mix and a terrier mix, that my family adopted from a local animal shelter. I also worked at a dog groomer, so I have experience with all different breeds of dogs (not to mention all different personalities). My experience administering medication I am completely comfortable administering medication as I've cared for special needs pets in the past.
