Please read this profile before sending an inquiry. It will help everyone involved. Important details below: I require a meet and greet. I am only providing housing sitting for dogs (no doggy day care - had to activate an "in-home" service for Luna to be viewable on my profile). Luna will be attending house sittings. (Please keep this in mind. She is a pretty low-key 10 lb female Shih-Poo. She plays, but may not like to be obsessively bothered). I can't take on households that use synthetic fragrances (plug-ins, sprays, laundry products, candles, etc). This makes me a selective sitter, but I can only service households that I can actually stay in. Also, I'm not opposed to certain larger breeds, but have found many mismatches come through the platform and have limited my settings. If you are beyond a 5 mile radius, I will add a rate equivalent to mileage costs + Rover fees. Also, I'm limiting extended stays to my immediate neighborhood for the time being. There aren't great settings for this in Rover, but I'm hoping you have read this far. ;) ***Please avoid sending requests for cats as I'm not set up for them due to increasing allergies. (Rover settings seem to miss this). There are some breeds that I don't have experience with. Please don't be offended if I decline your request due to that, but I want to ensure safety & best care for everyone involved. I work from home in personal development & well-being coaching I also have a few content writing clients. My interests in wellness and eco-conscious/sustainability carry through to all my life endeavors, including pet care.

I'm so glad I booked with Ashley! My dog Benny had an IBD flare up the week she was coming, which made leaving him even more stressful. I felt really supported by Ashley and her updates and was grateful for her flexibility for the weekend. I came back to a happy pup and clean house -- I would absolutely recommend and rebook!
Ashley is wonderful!! She was quick to respond and sent lots of updates. Her pup, Luna, was sweet and got along well with my dog. Ashley took them on a lot of walks and adventures:) Very highly recommend.
Ashley and Luna took good care of our rescue WileE. He is still an insecure little guy, but we felt like we could trust that he was being well-tended too and all of his needs were being met. We appreciated that Ashley was very responsive whenever we checked in.

Regarding your home, you will let me know how the dog engages in your environment. I wouldn't feel comfortable w/ off leash walking unless it's a secured area for dogs and you provide clearance + instructions. I do kindly ask for no requests from homes with lots of synthetic fragrances... synthetic candles, fragrance puffers, mushrooms, etc, synthetic fragranced soaps, candles, and home care products, including scented trash bags, etc. It's unhealthy and due to underlying health conditions even harder for me to tolerate.

Usually vets request a caretakers name and may require one of your credit cards to be on file in the case of emergencies.

Weather permitting, trips to parks and/or lake front. People watching. Showing off to the neighbors. Pets, scratches and/or belly rubs. I also like to explore the various natural areas.

Availability
Rover is a side income for me. I'm not building a business nor am consistently available like a pet services business would be. However, when it can fit into my schedule, it's something that I can provide. ***It may be hard for me to confirm requests beyond of 2-4 weeks in advance. Approx. 2 weeks in advance is most ideal.
