Can't imagine a life without Dogs!!

Pet care experience

My husband and I have a 2-and-a-half-year-old Mini Aussie Husky mix, named Rosie. She is our whole world! She is our Kid! She would love to help entertain your dog(s)! We have time, a few extra dog toys and blankets as well as plenty of space for them to play! Rosie loves all dogs and people. She is a very very sweet girl. She is the best dog we’ve ever had, and she is part of the reason we are changing our lives up and starting something new for ourselves with Rover. We are so lucky to have Dogs in our lives. Dogs are truly the best things on this planet. I can't imagine a life without Dogs!! They deserve nothing but unconditional love! I love dogs and I have been around all types and sizes of dogs most of my life. I would love to be available for other pet parents, especially for those that work weekends, go out of town often or anyone that don’t want their dog left cooped up with no interaction and no bathroom breaks. Currently a stay at home dog Mom looking to start a business from home. Home full time during the week. I have the time and the space for a couple extra furry friends, I would love to watch your dog(s) while you’re busy. I have recently been having a lot of anxiety/panic attacks and working with dogs has taken a lot of that away. They help calm me down when I feel anxious. I've always loved being around dogs and they’ve been a huge part of my life since I was very young. My anxiety has taken over my life a bit recently which is why I had to leave my full-time job and I get too worked up to even drive anymore. This is part of the reason I wanted to be a dog sitter/boarder at home. Dogs can be the best distractions for people with high levels of anxiety and it will help me as much as it will help you and your dog(s). As of now I am available for Doggy Daycare at our house & Doggy Boarding overnights at our house all week. Depending on Day Care & Boarding bookings I will be available for 30-minute Drop in visits to feed your pet and give them some love on weekends! I also can stop by to walk your pet as well on weekends depending on my schedule for other services. I do not drive but on Weekends when my husband is home, we will do drop-in visits and walks together. (Also, for my own safety.) It would be very quiet, mellow and relaxing here for your dog(s)! Stress free daycare & boarding! Wide open floor plan to keep the pup in sight! We live by a few farms and we have about 2 acres of land where we can walk your dog and it's our own backyard. There is lots of walking space and different parts of the yard to explore and play together in! Lots of grassy space to enjoy walks together! It’ll be a whole new world and there’s lots to stop and sniff! Just ask Rosie! I can do laps on my own land with your dog in a very quiet setting. I would love to care for your dog while you're busy with important dates, work, errands, busy weekends, going out of town, Doctor appointments and kids’ events. ETC... Rosie has us playing fetch with her and throwing her favorite ball nonstop. Having another furry friend over would entertain her as much as it would keep your dog entertained too! They won’t be lonely or bored here! They will have fresh water, play time, fresh air depending on weather conditions of course and most importantly they will be loved like family! I hate having to kennel our dog. I could imagine eight or nine hours probably feels like days to a dog in a kennel. We are their whole world as well. It’s not fair to them and it breaks my heart putting ours in her kennel when we go. I wouldn’t mind spending extra days helping you and your fur baby! Keep them out of that kennel and don’t leave them home alone; bring ‘em on over! Contact me and we would love to meet you and your pup(s) somewhere with our girl Rosie to see if they’re comfortable with each other. Rosie gets along with all dog’s, but we want to be safe and be sure that this is a safe decision for the dogs. We’re offering our extra time to help make things less stressful for you and your dog(s). - I have worked with or had dogs in my life as young as newborn puppies to senior dogs in their last days. - I have been a pet sitting for friends and family many times. - No breed preferences. I have experience with many breeds. - I have experience with many breeds, many sizes many different stages of life. - Experience with high energy breeds. - Experience with cuddling dogs! Rosie's favorite pass time after we play! - Trained many dogs for their basic commands as well. - Experience with giving medications. Non injection types! - Experience with blind, hearing impaired & mobility impaired dogs. Check back soon & Thank you!

Ashley was amazing! She has a real love for dogs( I'm sure animals in general) and perception of what a petowner is needing in a person that is leaving their dog with her. She sent pictures and texts about each day and how our dog Scooby was doing. With the bad storm and losing power for over a day she made sure Scooby was given fresh water and comfort when the storm got bad. She treated him like he was her own pet which is the greatest thing a petowner hopes for. Her dog Rosie was a good natured dog and accepted Scooby just great! We had a terrific first time experience with her and will definitely contact Ashley again for any future petsitting needs!?

Ashley was great! She is very prompt and professional and has a true passion for animals. My dog is senior (13 years old) and needed some special attention. She stepped up to the plate and there were no issues at all. I highly recommend Ashley to anyone who needs their four legged friends watched. 5/5

Information Ashley A. would like to know about your pet

I'd like to meet the dog(s) first to make sure everyone will be happy and safe with Boarding and Daycare visits. *Rosie stays home for Drop-in's and Walk visits.* - What is the dogs temperament? Are they generally calm, relaxed, silly, feisty, sweet, independent, lazy, hyper, curious, shy, old, grumpy? etc. - What is the dogs history? - Do they like to cuddle up or do they like to be mostly left alone and not touched/pet too much. (Some like to be left alone which is understandable) - What is their favorite way to play? Catch, Fetch, Tug, maybe some like to be left alone with just a Kong.. - Favorite toy? Ball, frisbee, ropes, chew toys, plush toy, squeaky toys, Kongs, bones/hides? - Any special commands or key words I should know? When to reward? - Any behaviors I should be aware of? paw licking/nervous licking, - Any warning signs of any kind I should know? What are their signs if they must go potty or if they start to get upset? How will I know? What can I do? - Are they leash trained? Can they be walked comfortably without fighting it? - Do they require special food/treats for their diet? *if so, please bring it with you. - Are they food/toy possessive? - Are they especially nervous in new areas? *Bring one of their toys or a familiar object from home please. Bring their blanket or bedding for familiarity and comfort away from home. - Are the food/ treat/ toy aggressive when around other dogs? Do they need separation from other dogs for certain things? - - No breed preferences here! I love dogs! Breeds I can think of offhand that I have been around or have worked with are miniature pinchers, Chihuahuas, Yorkies, Pit bulls, Dobermans, German shepherds, Malamutes, Labs, Corgis, Great Danes, Shepherds, Shar Pei, Terriers, Hounds, Huskies, Maltese, Poodles, Spaniels, Australian/American Shepherds, labradoodles, Shelties, Hunting dogs, Collies & Border Collies, Cattle dogs/Heelers, other herding breeds, working breed dogs. Mixed Breeds. *- I always have first aid supplies here as well as emergency numbers listed nearby. - * *- I will ask for extra forms of contact and the vet’s information as well in case of absolute emergencies. -* When they stay with me Please Bring their: - Food and Treats so that we avoid any upset stomachs from new/different foods. - Blanket or bedding item from home for comfort. Bringing their blanket or bedding for familiarity and comfort away from home could ease any anxiety they may have in a new place. - Kennel/Crate if they sleep in their kennels or for any case that I may need to separate them or put them in there if I need leave briefly- Emergencies only! I will not leave them out and unsupervised if I am not here to watch them. - Toys they might like to play with as long as they're not possessive/aggressive. Bringing a familiar object from home could ease anxiety for them being in a new space with new people. *Another great reason to meet first. - Medications or special supplements they may need as well as their medication schedule. No injection types; I do not have training for that. - Please also provide an extra person to contact in case of emergencies. Preferably someone close by that knows the dog(s) for any absolute worst case scenarios. (Family, Trusted Neighbor, Trusted Friend, Trusted Coworker, etc.)

The About me section covered most of my information and activities but here are a few other things I’d like to mention... I want to be sure that they are up to date on their flea/tick/other prevention's, vaccinations, etc. for the health and safety of the dogs before the dogs spend time around each other. *- Meeting first is the best way to be sure that the dogs will get along before the booking. Some dogs wont get along so its best to find out before they've been dropped off with us. - - Tick prevention is a must out here!! - - I want to be sure that they are up to date on their flea/tick/other prevention's, vaccinations, etc. for the health and safety of the dogs. - - Potty breaks can be every half hour if necessary, here! - - Weather permitted they can sit outside with me and enjoy the fresh air. I have lots of space to roam with them for walks. We have lots of land and room to run! - - I have an open floor plan in my home for playtime inside. Our home is still dog/puppy proofed since our dog has just gotten out of puppy-hood herself! - - I will never let a dog off leash unless I am in an enclosed space that they cannot get out of. - - I have gates in my house or doors are always closed so they can’t wander where they shouldn't and I have an open floor plan so they are always in sight! Even our own dog. - - I never leave pets unsupervised! They are always within sight! - - There is always fresh water available. - - I never feed them anything they should not have! Only what you provide for them for their stay. - - They will be treated like family here! Our dog is our baby,: She's basically our daughter! - - Snuggles on the couch are always allowed!! - - Unless we decide otherwise when we meet, I prefer dogs no heavier than 70-80 lbs. max please…Sometimes it will be only me home so I want to be sure I can handle them safely. - - I can give medications that are pills or liquid but not injections. I do not have training for that. - - I always have first aid supplies here as well as emergency numbers listed nearby. *- You will always be notified of any emergency first. *- I will ask for extra forms of contact and the vet’s information as well in case of absolute emergencies. -* I will not host dogs from separate families for the safety of all dogs and comfort of the owners. When they stay with me Please Bring their: - Food and Treats so that we avoid any upset stomachs from new/different foods. - Blanket or bedding item from home for comfort.
