Ashlen has walked and dog sat our dog (as well as two cats) for years and she generally seems to truly love all furry animals. She is a very kind, loving, patient, and yet firm, dog handler. She understands animal behavior very well and has even had experience training and handling challenging breeds. Dogs behave well for her and feel secure with her because she maintains confident control. Our dog has gotten all the love, attention and professional level care she deserves from Ashlen. We also have always completely trusted her in our home with our pets when we were away for the weekend. She is very a very honest and trustworthy young woman, who we wholeheartedly refer.

I am very experienced in pet care by interning with a vet hospital for 2 years, so I feel that my evaluation of Ashlen's appropriateness for the position of a dog caregiver comes with some extra insight. Her ability to read dog body language is amazing. She knows how to physically communicate with dogs to both ensure that she is coming off as caring, and the ensure that the dog feels safe. She is such a loving and responsible person. Everything she does is thoroughly thought out and she thinks of every possible outcome. I think her skills makeup a person that I would trust any dog with. She can provide and dog with proper care for health and safely while also being interactive and fun.
