Pet care experience
I've loved animals my entire life and have owned dogs, cats, parrots, and other small mammals. Growing up I always had a hand in taking care of my pets. I am currently owned by a 4 year old Siberian husky and a nearly 21 year old sun conure. We participate in a handful of dog sports and competitions. I believe that a tired dog is a happy dog! Dogs need interaction and physical exercise as well as mental exercise on a regular basis and I hope to provide that for your beloved family member while they are in my care! I can provide walks and basic obedience training during my visits. I will make sure your pets have fresh water, food (as advised by you), as well as can administer oral medications when needed. I have experience with many different breeds and sizes of dogs.

Ashleigh made drop-in visits for our Brittany Spaniel this weekend and we were tickled to see her pictures of our dog and her walk/food/water report each time she came by. She didn't need to walk our dog morning and night, but she did anyway and I know our pet was super happy for that. I would highly recommend Ashleigh! We will be contacting her again the next time we go away!
Ashleigh is amazing with all animals! She's very involved in her community, takes photos of shelter/rescue pups in need of adoption and is an amazing pet photographer. She heads up a wonderful and informative Husky group and has personally educated me on all things Siberian Husky and dog related in general. She is a wealth of knowledge and is also very detail oriented so you can rest assured that your dog(s) is in the best hands possible.
Ashleigh is knowledgeable, fit, caring, and a very responsible dog owner. Not only does she do her research on breeds, she is very in tune to dogs/owners and their needs. You will not regret bringing this ambitious young woman into your life.
I've known Ashleigh P. for 4 years. The minute she moved into my neighborhood it was obvious what an animal lover she is! She is loving, kind, and patient with all of the pets she comes in contact with....even my spoiled brat dogs. Just ask Mishka (her pup) how sweet she is, he can attest to her goodness. Ashleigh is a wealth of knowledge and I always turn to her for advice when something is going on with my dogs. Ashleigh is very responsible and I would trust her with my babies anytime.
