Ashlei has been watching my dogs for years. I have had many breeds from a 3.8lb. Yorkshire Terrier to (2) 150lb. Rottweilers. She has even helped me to care for my horse. Everyone should know that Ashlei is one of the most compassionate and caring people I know. She genuinely loves pets of all kinds. She has a natural gift that helps pets to know she can be trusted. My Yorkie (Chloe), for example, is a very sensitive dog and will not eat when I am gone. Chloe is a social eater, so Ashlei takes the time to sit on the floor with her while Chloe eats. She has severe anxiety when I am not present, so Ashlei spends time showing her affection and holding her. Now Chloe knows and trusts her. Ashlei knows that Chloe suffers from back and hip issues, and will help her go up steps. Ashlei has administered medications as needed for Chloe from eye ointment to pills for pain and car sickness. She is very much aware of the coyotes in my area and has had to make critical judgements when a coyote came into her presence while Chloe was on a walk. In the past I had two Rottweilers. Each one had a different personality, one was more aggressive and the other was very affectionate. The aggressive dog needed more of a hands on approach and the other one just needed voice commands. Ashlei was able to adapt to both personalities where they both trusted her and looked up to her as their caretaker. I would highly recommend Ashlei to care for any of my pets as her own.
