Pet care experience
I have been taking care of dogs all my life. More recently in life I’ve been caring for friends and families pups (and sometimes cats), as well as my own. I recently lost my boy, Marvin, who I spent my free time with outdoors walking and exploring neighborhoods and parks or relaxing on the couch. I’m just not quite ready for a new dog, and until that day comes, I’d love to help you with your dog!

I am happy to stay in your home and care for your animals. I am used to walking dogs at least twice a day if needed (even in rain). Since I do work full time I will ensure your dog has used the restroom prior to leaving. If your pup does visit my home I have a fully fenced in yard with lots of room for playing.

What do I need to know about your best friend to ensure they have the best experience while you are away? Are they shy? Do they need time to warm up? What are their favorites? What are their least favorites? I’ve cared for dogs of all personality and I want to ensure they are comfortable while you are gone.
A typical day
I enjoy taking dogs on trips to the dog park, a new trail, or just a good old sniff around the neighborhood. I will also never turn down a good game of fetch or a snuggle on the couch (if allowed).

I am a full time special education teacher. I am available evenings, weekends, and holidays. During summer months (June/July/early August) I have full days available.
