Ever since I was a toddler I've been a dog lover. From that age I began learning about dogs and what it means to be the caretaker of such lovely companions. I even started early with big dogs! My first 'puppy friend', as I would call him, was a fully grown Rottweiler named Bronx. I was only 4 when I first met him. Fast-forward to 2007, and I'm the elated owner of a 2 month old bully breed mix named Blaze! IMPORTANT: My calendar here on Rover will reflect my availability in general, but for specifics (such as walking availability/drop-in visits on weekdays), just contact me and I'll give you my detailed availability. I am currently attending USF at the Tampa campus for fall, spring, and summer semesters. I have zero years of paid experience, but I have been caring for and sitting for dogs since I was about 10 years old. It's the love I have for dogs that keeps me active on Rover, and when I'm on duty I make sure to tend to the animals' needs to the fullest extent before leaving or taking a break. I exercise them daily and play with them until their energy is healthily spent for the time being. Of course, I keep an eye on their water supply, and clean any bowls if they look dirty. If they're like my dog and are trained to go to the door to be let out to relieve themselves, I'd keep an eye on them to watch when they head to the door. I also know how to read several signs of annoyance or discomfort so I could keep my distance in the event of an unhappy dog. Regarding the Cat Care Rate: I won't apply this charge if I'll be caring for the dogs as well. It only applies when cats are the only animals I'll be caring for. Regarding the Bathing and Grooming Rate: I'll only apply this charge for baths.
