Pet care experience
I have had dogs and small animals (rodents, fish, and birds) my entire life. I love all animals big and small. Temporarily I can only take in small to medium pets but may be able to make an exception for a large pet depending on their temperament. I have cared for exotics and I don’t have an animal I’m afraid of. I have owned fur babies with different medical conditions to include diabetes so I am comfortable giving medications and injections. I also specialize in senior care. I have had three in my home at once before, some that came with diapers on! I can work from your home or mine for most animals with the exception of cats. I can only take care of cats inside of your house due to the family having allergies to them. I however don’t have allergies and would love to meet them! If you want your babies to be treated like family please contact me!

This was our first experience using a sitter and it exceeded all expectations! Ashlee is so kind and treated our pup like her own. She put all our worries to ease and sent lots of pics while we were away. Our Roscoe had a vacation of his own staying with her and her family and loved making friends with her pups. We couldn’t have chosen better care for our baby than with her. Highly recommend!
Ashlee was wonderful! Came by for a quick meet and greet with Milo before her visits and Milo took to her right away. Sent lots of pictures during her visits and took great care of Milo, highly recommended!

Ashlee is an amazing “dog whisper”! She tends to Beau and Cooper’s needs- plays with them, makes sure they are happy, fed, and doing well! We never worry when she is with our “boys”! Best “family” friend for our dogs.

Your pet will be lovingly cared for like my own in our house. I am a homemaker, so other than some short errands every once in a while, I can be available to your pet night and day throughout their visit. We also have a doggie camera, so if I do need to leave I can watch and hear them on live feed. I have three dogs that your dog can play with in our large fenced in backyard. I only grow plants in the backyard that are non toxic to yours and my fur babies. We are also close to a dog park if they want to get out more energy. We live in a neighborhood with sidewalks so walks will be safe. I live with a 10 year old boy whom is very respectful of animals and their need for space. He also helps me with feeding and walking of our dogs. My husband will also be home every night to dole out extra attention. We own a extra large and small crate if your pet requires one during their stay.

Please let me know if you dog has any special dietary or medical needs prior to their stay. I have past experience with elderly care and dealing with dogs that need medication, to include insulin. Please do not bring your dog if they have fleas or obvious communicable diseases. You or your emergency contact will be asked to pick up your dog and you will be charged for any flea treatments for the house/yard and any dog living or visiting during same stay that becomes infested. Thank you for understanding.
A typical day
If you want a place that feels like home that will love and spoil your fur babies as much as you do, then you found it! Each dog will be treated as my own with as much belly rubs and play they can handle. After a long day playing with my dogs inside and outside your dog is welcomed to snuggle up on the couch, crate, or our bed before bedtime. Don’t like playing? That is ok too. My Golden Retriever/welcome comity quickly feels out your dogs personality and can match it as needed. He has been known to comfort and snuggle ones that are scared, pull shy pups out their shell to play, and calm down some crazy puppers! Our house accommodates puppies to seniors. Seniors are my personal favorite! We have a large privacy fenced in backyard, safe neighborhood with sidewalks, or a dog park near to accommodate your pups level of activity needs.

** Updated 1 October 2022 ** PCS orders are in the works. We should be moving somewhere soon after the New Year. I am currently heavily booked up until then but please don’t let that prevent you from reaching out if you need anything. Everyone of my clients that I have served here became family and it feels like I will be leaving pieces of my heart scattered throughout Prattville, Millbrook, and Montgomery. Thank you for taking a chance on me and letting me get to know you personally. I am excited for our next adventure! I’m sending you all lots of love and pawsativity! I am prior Air Force, now military spouse and stay at home mother. I’ve always loved animals and always wanted to work with them. I felt this would be a perfect job to give me the opportunity to do something I love on a more flexible schedule. I will need at couple days notice for animals staying in our home around Thanksgiving and Christmas. Holiday weeks/weekends fill up quickly, so don’t delay! I understand emergency situations arise so don’t be discouraged from calling if you need last minute services. Cancellations need to be made 3 days prior to your boarding visit. For the holiday season please allow for a 5 day cancellation due to the space limitations. Failure to do so on either will forfeit 50% of your total amount. ** After 7 days of boarding or 4 nights house sitting the charge will change to the holiday rate and will be added to your bill. This total will not be reflected in your original summary but will be discussed and agreed upon prior to finalizing the booking. I have attempted to add this on prior but it charges you, the client, the higher total for every day and not just the days after 7 days. **
