Find care for all here!

Pet care experience

Hey there! If you’re looking for someone to love and care for your babies, your search can stop with me. I work hard to gain and keep clients trust. I highly value my reputation and do everything in my power to keep my word. I don’t take it lightly. I will also not allow anyone you have not met nor approved in your home around your babies, as I would not want someone else bringing strangers into mine. You can trust me to keep your babies happy and healthy, and to keep your home perfectly intact. Should ANYTHING go awry, I will be notifying you immediately. I don’t believe in trying to cover up mistakes or ignoring mishaps. I wouldn’t want someone to be anything other than honest and straightforward to me, and I pay that forward. Acknowledging and correcting mistakes so they don’t happen in the future is how you build trust and grow as a person. Now that that’s all said, here’s a bit about me and some additional details about pricing. My name is Ashlee. I grew up taking care of dogs, cats, sugar gliders and snakes! I've watched birds several times for a friend, so I'm familiar with caring for them as well. I love all animals and would love to take care of your babies for you while you're away! Every animal I have in my care is treated with the same love I give to my own furbabies. I have worked in a grooming salon and a vet clinic so I know how to do basic grooming (nails, ears, teeth, anal glands). If you would like me to show you how you can do these things, let me know and I will be more than happy to show you! No charge unless you would prefer me to do it. I promise, it's not as scary as you may think it is (: I also have experience administering shots and working with senior/blind/deaf pets. I will be taking a class soon to also learn pet CPR. Please free to reach out with any questions. I hope to hear from you! Additional Information: **The prices you see are the only prices you’ll pay for up to the first three animals (excluding dog walking). There may be a small additional fee for more than three animals in my care or for animals requiring medication administration. The fee is the same no matter the route of administration. For more than three animals in my care, it’ll be an additional $5 for up to another three animals per drop in visit, and $8/night additional for housesitting. Dog walks are $15/walk for one dog. There is an extra charge of $4 per additional dog getting walked. If your pets are trained to heel/don’t pull, the price will drop to $10/walk for the first dog and then the additional dog fee will apply to that. **For holidays, Rover automatically applies the holiday rate to every day of the booking. Most of the time I take off most of the added cost and only charge it for that holiday weekend. It doesn’t make sense nor seem fair considering I have many military clients and their underways are often a month or more. For holidays such as Christmas and New Years, the holiday rate may apply beyond a few days due to high demand. ** Rover does a background check on all of their sitters. However, while this may check for any criminal activity, I don’t believe this gives enough of a character reference for the sitter. Because of this, I have a list of references on hand for any clients who would like a copy. These are clients who I have reached out to that have booked me multiple times and have agreed to be reached out to. I also have had several of my clients who have booked me post reviews on my profile. These reviews cannot be altered or taken down by any sitter so you can certain that these are 100% straight from clients who have booked my services and are honest reviews. I encourage every client to post an honest review of my services. If, by some chance, I have displeased an owner, I would greatly appreciate a chance to fix my error, and so I encourage you to please let me know how I can do better. **For anyone who may need a more customized booking, please contact me and I can give you a more tailored quote! ***In case of any natural disasters, please also have a plan in place in case there is a need for evacuation. I can/will transport pets to contacts if needed. However, in cases such as this, timing is everything and so this is something I need to know ahead of time to make sure everyone and everything gets taken care of. **If you have any questions about me, my services, or how I can help you, please feel free to reach out to me.

Ashlee has been the best sitter for our pup, and I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone who loves pets to help care for their fur babies!! She’s very sweet and takes lots of pictures and notes so you’re always aware of what’s going on at home while you’re away. She pays great attention to detail and I will be calling on her from now on to help with my dog when I have a trip!

Ashlee is fantastic. I have a 10 year old pug and she treats him so well! 5 pics and a nice write up every time she comes. You can tell she is an animal lover who treats every dog like it was her own. So lucky to have found her!

Information Ashlee A. would like to know about your pet

In order to make the stay as comfortable as possible for both the furbabies and the owners, I need to know habits and behaviors of the animals I’m watching. What makes them so excited they bark nonstop and spin in circles? Treats? Being told they’re going on a walk? Seeing their favorite toy pulled out to play with? What makes them uncomfortable? I.e. loud noises? Hats? I also need to know any medical history that may be relevant, such as seizures, allergies, dietary restrictions. Also, I often bring treats with me to visits but I don’t want to trigger anything! Please let me know if your pet can have treats, or if there’s any allergies I need to be aware of. Since we’re on the topic, I also ask that you let me know who their vet is, in case of any emergencies. I have yet to have anything happen during one of my stays, but I’d like to think that’s because I am always prepared! As far as breed preferences, I absolutely love them all (: If you’re asking my favorites, my top three are giant schnauzers, pit bulls, and cane corsos. But again, I adore all breeds and appreciate the differences between them.

A typical day

Tug of war is a very popular option for many dogs. While most of the time the pups win, I don’t hesitate to start a new game if it’s something the pup loves to do. If they enjoy other games, please let me know so I can make the stay more enjoyable for them. If they enjoy walks, let me know their usual route so I can taje them to get fresh air in an area you’re comfortable with them being walked. A side note here, you can see exactly where I have taken your pup on a walk thanks to the rover app that tracks me! You’ll see a complete map of our walk.
