Hi! I'm Ash, and I've lived on a farm for the past three months with around 8 dogs with different personalities — from shy to excitable, from skittish to laid-back, from small to large and everything in between. I have plans to adopt a pup, but want more experience actively caring for them! I watched a friend’s recently adopted dog and home while he was away for 3 weeks. She was struggling a bit with her owner being gone for so long, but I took her on frequent walks (and runs!) throughout the day, checked her regularly for signs of frostbite, bathed her, and just generally gave her all of the care and attention I could to make up for her missing person. I loved being around her, and we bonded a lot in the time we spent together. My temperament aligns best with low-medium energy dogs, and I have some experience caring for a dog with separation anxiety. I make an effort to be incredibly communicative (daily photos/updates), but am also completely willing to communicate at the frequency that works for you! I really love dogs and I can’t wait to become a dog mama, but until then, I’m eager to replicate the loving experiences I’ve had with pups and to create a ton more with your furry friends!!
