My husband and I both grew up with dogs and have periodically fostered since moving to NYC. We now care for Leila, our own 7-year-old beagle/basset-hound mix. Leila has great doggie social cues and is perfectly happy napping, snuggling, or playing with furry friends. We often dog sit/board for our neighbors and friends in NYC and on Long Island. I work 100% from home as a Clinical Project Manager. My husband and I do a walk in Central Park or Carl Schurz Park every morning and evening (before/after he goes to the office) and I go on frequent block walks and play in the apartment throughout the day. I'm available for boarding and day-care 7 days a week and house-sitting/visits/walks on weekends or weekdays after 5pm around UES/UWS/Midtown areas. We have a completely private and fenced backyard with artificial grass which I have a full view of from my desk. The backyard is accessed directly from our 1 bedroom apartment which provides plenty of room for finding places to nap/play or timeout if needed! If you would like to let your pup run off-leash, we often go to a fenced area in Central Park or the dog run in Carl Schurz Park. Otherwise, we are on a leash at all times and can provide frequent pic/text updates. We have a couple of fantastic local vets if needed including a 24/7 emergency vet clinic and I can also arrange visits to Sandy's Doggie Spa for washes, nail clippings, etc.
