I'm a young professional in Seattle with a lifelong love for dogs! I don’t have a dog of my own currently, so caring for dogs on Rover has been a great opportunity to make some canine friends in the city. I am originally from Nashville, TN, where I grew up with dogs (and a cat) of my own and dogsat for family friends much of my life. I look forward to meeting your pup and making sure they have a great time :) Experience: -18 years of past dog ownership (mini-Schnauzer & Jack Russell) -1.5 years helping to care for my former roommate's senior Yellow Lab, Reuger (pictured) -5 years caring for dogs on Rover! Lifelong dog sitter for family friends and coworkers. Availability: I will be available weekdays and weekends for dog care and walks. I am centrally located in Capitol Hill near the Link station, and am happy to travel to your neighborhood. Style: I'm athletic/strong and can keep up with the most active of dogs, but I'm also delicate with older ones. My roommate and I don't allow our dog on furniture/beds because he sheds mountains of hair, but he definitely has his own two beds and several squeaky toys. Smaller dogs or dogs that don't shed a lot would be welcome with me on the sofa :) Activities: I look forward to walks, hikes, runs/jogs, frisbee, fetch, photo shoots, etc. If you have an older or indoor dog who just needs company, I am happy to keep it low energy. Other pets: 18 years with Himalayan cat (lived alongside two dogs!). She died in 2014 :(
