I've taken care of a couple animals in the past and loved every minute of it! I have family friends who go to Florida at least twice a year and they always ask me to watch over their 2 dogs. Tank, is part black Lab and part Great Dane, and Gem is part golden retriever and part, German Shepard. I've also checked in on my neighbors cat Ebony, when they would leave for a weekend trip. Another Family from church were going on a weeks long vacation, and asked if they could Leave Milo with me, I said, "Sure Thing!" thing I've also aided service to multiple birds, hamsters and guinea pigs. When someone asks for help in regards to their pets i can rarely say no, and once I've shown i can do it they always ask me first to do it once again.
