I have an entire lifetime of experience with traditional pets; I've helped raise two litters of dogs and three litters of cats and have owned several dogs and cared for several dogs from small to large for a good portion of my life. I've watched dog and cats for the past 4 years on Rover; I try to treat them like they were my own puppers. Email and Text are my preferred methods of communication. Typically, if I'm dropping in, I'll come in, make sure the dog is okay, fill their bowls, make sure they can potty, treat them, pet them and play with them. I make sure they get enough exercise and fresh air on their potty breaks.

We were extremely grateful that Samhain was able to take our last minute request to housesit after our original sitter canceled. However they did not follow our instructions to care for our dogs. They did not walk our high energy dog and just let them out in the backyard and resulted in a barking complaint from neighbors who even called the city. Otherwise we assume everything was fine. The dogs weren't alone for a week, but we'll look for someone who can better meet their needs next time.
I highly recommend Samhain to take care of your furbabies! I've had Samhain watched my pets twice now and I definitely plan on rebooking any time I need a pet sitter! My dog and cat were both excited to see me when I got home but it was clear they got lots of love while I was away :)
Wonderful caretaker to our German shepherd! Samhain is very kind and was wonderful watching our dog. Polite, punctual, communicative, and respectful with our sitting!

When in others' homes I practice respectful guest etiquette and try to leave the home in about the same if not a nicer state than when I first arrived. I follow all stated household rules & appreciate written out instructions. When your pet stays in my home, I treat them like I would my own pet. I am a chill petsitter who instills calm into animals.

Any regulations in regards to feeding, i.e. special diets? Do they have a regular time they like to potty at, or should I be watchful in case they let me know? Any ailments or disabilities to be aware of, i.e. epilipsy?
A typical day
We'd go for walks to the nearest park and could play catch or jog; Play inside with their toys and relax together towards the evening. I like walking to the river if its closeby or within Pupper's walking limits.

Availability
I am currently self-employed & am free most hours after noon, and am available to watch pets during that time. I can also stay for extended periods for house sitting jobs.
