Pet care experience
I have experience with dogs of all ages since I was a teenager! My first pet Bailey (~10 yo) was a Boxer-German Shepherd Mix and My Brother has two pit bulls, one red and one blue nose (~5-6 yo). Whenever Family went out of town, I was the reliable caretaker. My Boy, Loki (aka Papa Boy, Mr. Boy, Capitan), chose Me to be His caretaker starting in 2018. Shortly after, We met ButterLove (aka ButterBaby, MommaGurl, ChickenWing), and They’ve been a dynamic duo ever since! Both are rescues and have rarely had behavioral modifications. Butter was reluctant to crates (possibly because wherever She came from) but We slowly eased Her into understanding that the crate is Her sanctuary. Butter has had two litters, first with a German Shepherd father and most recently with Loki. I’ve helped Her raise a total of 21 puppies since 2020! I bathe Them at least once a month, depending on the season and how much time We’ve spent in the wild. Loki has a curly coat and Butter has a smooth coat, but both receive brushing sessions when needed. From whelping to providing long-lasting companionship and attentiveness to elder dogs, I have experienced it all!

The care I provide consists of a balance between fun/play time and relax/recharge time. I enjoy taking the dogs out for a walk, playtime at a park, and/or indoor play/training for an hour or two at a time, then two to three hours of relaxing/recharging time (hydration, snacks, and rest). Depending on the weather, outdoor walks can be replaced with indoor activities. Loki is a runner so We can incorporate 1-3 mile runs if everyone’s healthy and capable. Butter can run as well but She’s more of an park/indoor playdate. Whenever We’re not outdoors, inside is the relaxing zone of playing with chew toys and/or enjoying the view of the community from the balcony. We’re adaptable so if there’s any customization that’s needed for Your pet, know that We accommodate and provide a unique experience!

A typical day
The typical day consists of an hour-long walk in the morning around the neighborhood, breakfast, indoor play then rest. Another hour-long walk in the middle of the day, indoor play then rest. A final hour-long walk in the evening around the neighborhood, dinner, indoor play then sleep. Depending on the weather, We may go to Bren Mar Park nearby for a large field to play in or the unfenced yard in the complex for supervised outdoor play.

I choose when I want to work and contractually give a 24-hour notice when I will not be available. Because of this I can either be completely available for partly unavailable. Butter & Loki are My top priority and Your pet will be also!
