My name is Arlene. Dogs and cats have always been a part of my life. I'm knowledgeable in basic nutrition and basic training and would be happy to share my knowledge. Certified in Pet CPR and Pet First Aid will allow you to know your " fur baby" is in experienced hands. I've been in business locally for over 10 years and 10 years in New Jersey. My philosophy is that every pet is a VIP pet. They also become a part of my family under my care. I require all pets be clean, current on shots and current on their flea medications proof is required. I check for fleas for the safety of all my other clients and my animals. I stay up to date on Pet Information via the two pet sitting organizations and have served on the board of a cat rescue organization. My quest for new knowledge is of primary concern. I always read pet magazines and online articles.. If there is something that I'm asked and I'm not familiar with the answer, I'll always do research to find the answer. Most importantly I'm very experienced. Thanks for looking and your consideration..

I would highly recommend Arlene as a pet sitter. My dog and cat are my family. What I appreciate most about Arlene is not just her obvious love for animals (and my animals immediate love for her), but her professional approach. Pet sitting is not Arlene’s side job – it’s what she loves and does for her livelihood. She cares and spends lots of time loving my animals. She leaves detailed notes, so I don't have to wonder about anything that happened while I was away. She doesn't hesitate to call if she sees anything unusual or ask a question. She's trained in pet CPR and continually updates her skills and certifications. My animals are happy and well cared for with Arlene!
I have used Arlene for many years, on many occasions to take care of My Dog Gizmo and I always know he was in great hands. He always came back very happy dog!

Are any special quirks? For instance, fear of thunder. Have they ever bitten any one. Are there feeding habits I should know about. Is food left down all day or does it need to be picked up after the meal, etc. I always have the owner fill out a detailed personalized questionnaire. I've sat for Chows and other aggressive breeds, If you prefer to have them in a crate, that's no problem. Run of the house is also an option. I have no fear of large or small dogs and can handle them.
A typical day
Lots of TLC at all times. There are lakes around my neighborhood that I routinely walk my dog. It's a nice long walk . Play time is as long as the puppy/dog wants. They can play safely in my home (or yours).
