Hi there! We are an animal loving couple with two young kids and a sweet elderly puggle (pug+beagle) named Tira. We recently moved to Eltingville from Brooklyn. In Brooklyn, we were a trusted neighborhood sitter and had pet sit regular clients for many years. We have over 20 years experience caring for different pets with various needs. As Rover clients ourselves, we know all too well how tough it is to leave our furbaby in the care of someone else and understand the importance of choosing a petsitter that is reliable, responsive and accommodating, so we pride ourselves with providing many pups, and potentially yours with unconditional love, quality care and safety under our roof for their stay. We both grew up raising pups of various breeds and have fostered for many years. We were also active volunteers with various dog rescues in Brooklyn until they find their forever homes. During their stay, you will receive plenty of pupdates, pictures, and videos so you won’t have to spend time worrying about your pup, but rather enjoy your time away! For the safety of your pet and ours, we can only host pets who are friendly, and small to medium in size. However, large pups (40 lbs+) and puppies are accepted on a case by case basis. We also welcome pups with special needs, diets, elderly pups, and health issues requiring minimum medical attention. Why I love dog sitting I've always lived with a dog since the age of five. My family rescued a mixed breed pup, reminiscent of Benji who lived for about 15 years. My partner and I raised our puggle Tira from when she was a puppy. We've been long time animal lovers and hope to have the opportunity to care for your furbaby. Our experience administering medication We are very comfortable administering medication in various forms which include pills with strict timing schedules, liquid, ointments to sensitive areas such as the eyes and insulin injections.
