Pet care experience
I grew up my whole life with pets, and was co-responsible for training them with my two brothers. My family dog that past away shortly before I came to college was old and needed medicine, so I learned how to administer medication in multiple ways. I am very active, and can assure that your dog is too! I am very comfortable around all sorts and sizes of dogs, and will do whatever I can to make your dog feel comfortable when around me. I have spent most of my life around pets, so I know how to be patient and flexible with them!

Arjun would be an incredible dog caregiver. He is kind, responsible, caring, punctual and engaging. We have had Arjun housesit and dog sit for us in the past and our animals love him. He has a special connectivity to dogs, kind of a dog whisperer if you will, which comes from having dogs as pets his entire life. He would be a perfect hire.

I currently live in a house close to campus. The house has a large common area, living room, and bedrooms, so there is no shortage of space for a dog inside. I have a small yard outside, but the yard has no fence. However, I only live a short walk away from Boulder Creek and the walking path there, so I would most likely take a dog to walk around the creek. I have four roommates who are all pet people that have also grown up around pets. They are appreciative of dogs and would be very loving to a dog in the house. They also gave me permission to bring dogs inside the house and onto our furniture.

I would like to know the age and the breed of the dog. I don't have any preferences, I would like like to know the size and what to expect from the dog. I would also like to know if the dog is friendly to other dogs, just in case we have other dogs at our house. Another thing I would like to know is if the dog will bolt out of the door if it is slightly open or if we can hangout with the door ajar. Other than that I would like to know general characteristics and tendencies of the dog.
A typical day
I will go on hikes and walks. If your dog is comfortable with car rides I will take them up into the mountains to explore. I also like trail running so running with your dog is also a possibility. When in the house the dog will get a lot of love from me and my four roommates. The dog will be active and will be exposed to a lot of other loving people. If your dog loves adventuring as much as I do we will get along well!

Availability
I am a full time student at the University of Colorado and I work as a research assistant in a lab on CU, so my days are usually fairly busy. Working in my research lab and attending classes are my only obligations for the day, however, so evenings and mornings I available. Even with having classes and work during the day, I do have breaks within my schedule that I would be able to take a dog for a walk or let out to use the bathroom. Whether it is dog watching, dog boarding, or dog walking, early mornings or evenings would be my preferred time of day.
