Pet care experience
I have had lots of experience with taking care of all kinds of animals big and small! Having grown up in the mountains of Colorado, I've always been passionate about the animals that surround us in life. About four years ago I adopted my German shepherd mix Mako, who is super energetic and active. We do all sorts of activities together such as playing with toys, fetching, running, walking, hiking, and also visiting his doggy friends at the dog park! Since settling in to Oakland, I've led pack hikes with dogs in groups of 3-7. I really enjoy spending time with our animal friends in nature when they feel most adventurous! In having a job where I'm surrounded by numerous dogs for 7 hours straight, I have learned a lot more about dogs, their mannerisms, and behaviors especially in group settings with the help of knowledgable mentors and trainers. I also love taking care of cats and kittens. I've had experience with senior cats as well as those that require medication (injection/oral). I believe that I have a high amount of patience and gentleness around pets. I really love getting to know an animal in order to better understand and care for them. I’d love to be your sitter as I can provide the upmost personal, responsible, and gentle care for your pet.

I always make sure that before I enter a client/pet's home, that I have entirely read their pet's care bio and have understood it, I always make sure to verify this info in person as well. I am sure to always abide by the owner's requests while I am caring for their pet. I believe a great pet sitter and pet relationship is based off of a complete understanding, trust, and knowledge of the pet as well as the pet's own companionship to their owner.

I am open to sitting any pet, regardless of their breed, size, and age! Before sittings, I would love to know their daily care regimen and if they have any specific issues I should be focused on, such as health concerns, habits and/or triggers.
A typical day
When we go on walks, we'll go block to block in a safe manner. For house sitting stays, we'll do activities such as playing inside/outside and tending to their daily walks as needed. I love visiting dog parks and hiking trails with dogs as well. I will surely and carefully accommodate to any of the dog's and owner's needs/requests throughout the time the pets are without their owner. I’m always down to play and take care of kitties too! For cats, I’d love to know they’re daily routine, and anything I should specifically know of such as their food schedule and important aspects of their usual behavior.

Availability
Due to myself being a student, although Rover is definitely a priority in my life, I am available really every day throughout the week but am limited to certain hours, I apologize for my limitations. Hence this restriction in hours, I am available Monday-Thursday before 9am and after 4/5pm, and I am usually available the entire day from 6am to 9pm on Friday-Sunday. I apologize for the limits of my time, but I am always open to taking care of your fur baby/s within my availability! Thanks so much for considering me in advance!!!
