Our family loves animals of all shapes and sizes! I've loved animals my entire life and have always had dogs, cats, birds, fish, chickens, hamsters, rats, you name it! My husband and I have trained a guide dog for the blind, raised a few puppies together and have fostered quite a few dogs through multiple rescues. We live in Bowie on 1.3 acres in a lovely quiet neighborhood, our own slice of heaven! Our yard is unfenced but we live in a quiet neighborhood with minimal road traffic and do have an inground fence and extra collars for dogs trained on inground fences. I am a stay at home mom to one little one so we are home for most of the day aside from school pickups and evening activities a couple times a week. We prefer to spend our time outside in the yard when possible and we have a dog door that can be kept either open or closed during dog sits depending on visiting dogs needs. We have 2 dogs, a cat, chickens, and a starling. Note: Visiting dogs must be house trained, kennel trained, have basic obedience training, good with other dogs/cats and completely trustworthy with children of all ages as we have a young child and often have visiting children.
