Pet care experience
I have had a handful of petsitting opportunities through out the years where I've walked, fed, administered medicine, bathed, trained and played with my four legged friends. Puppies included! I’m ABSOLUTELY in LOVE with the snarky-smart personalities of poodles and the playful fun loving pit-bull mutt mixes. Before I moved to Santa Barbara in 2014 I lived in Israel working on a family goat farm. It was a wholesome experience being in rhythm with the maintenance and care taking of these special animals. I administered oral medicine, milked, fed and monitored them. There were also two farm dogs who were excellent herders. They needed tick picking and flea baths once in a while too! They were fun loving companions and guard dogs. I apply that TLC to each animal I meet. Each animal truly has their own personality and soulful presence. They have a medicine of lessons to teach us two legged sapiens.

Generally friendly, but cautious, my standard poodle takes a while to really warm up to people. Ari is one of Baxter’s top humans and jumps for joy when he sees her. They have a strong kinship! She is a very attentive pet sitter adhering to the needs of Baxter. For example after a long beach play date she’ll always bathe, blow dry him out and then administer eye drops (he tends to get eye mucus build up). She also house and pet sat for us in the past multiple times and keeps things very orderly by keeping a chart or texting us of Baxter’s eating times, P & P times, and play activities. She also sends pictures which is nice! She does a thorough and heartfelt job. I highly recommend Ari to pet sit and walk your dog(s)!
My dog jumps for joy everytime he sees Ari. What I love about Ari is she matches the energy of the dog. If the dog gets excited so does she. If the dog has more subdued energy, she becomes Zen. She takes her time with the walks to make sure Yofi comes back with some of his energy released. And, she spends a few minutes inside with him giving him cuddles and back scratches. I will always trust Ari with Yofi and future fur babies.

When meeting your dog for the first time we will most likely walk around his/her neighborhood so as to get more comfortable with each other. Later down the line we'll step it up and maybe go to some local parks and the beach of course!
