👋 Hi there! I have a 5-year-old rescue dog and I'm also a cat lover. I'm new to Rover (joined Dec 2022) but I've taken care of pets from friends and family for a long time. My 2023 goal is to become a top sitter in NYC and a certified CPDT-KA dog trainer: follow me on IG @roverpetcare to stay in touch! 🧸 Trust and Safety: I understand you are putting in a lot of trust before the first booking with me - after all, you are introducing a stranger to your fur baby at your home! I’m a dog mom who used to travel for work consistently, so I’ve been in your shoes. Therefore I always do a Meet and Greet with first-time clients to ensure we are a mutual fit. Also, I will provide A TON of photo and video updates throughout the visit so that you can see how happy, safe, and spoiled your pets are with me! 🤗 During Meet and Greet, we will agree upon a set of activities customized to your preference. Below are some examples: 🧳 For drop-ins: feeding, playing, brushing, medication if applicable. Litter box scooping for cats. Brief release walk for dogs. 🦮 For dog walks: Dog loves routines and I’d love to accommodate your preferences for routes and any known behavioral quirks. Your booking is a private walk by default. 🏠 For house sitting: all of the above plus additional stimulation and care. For dogs this could include outdoor exercises ranging from throw/catch in the yard to dog park visits of your choice. For cats this could include litter box disposal/refill. I offer grooming for repeat clients as well. Ariel was a phenomenal house sitter for our two big dogs. Right off the bat, you could tell she was responsible and thoughtful just through her communication - she gave full run downs of each day with plenty of pictures and videos. She read through my 5 page long instructions manual and followed everything to the tee. I was so at ease during my vacation because I knew my babies were in great hands. Upon coming home, I was also very happy to find the dogs and house in perfect condition. Cannot recommend her enough, she's the best of the best!
Ariel was an exceptional sitter for our 2 year old rescue pup Sauce. She is extremely professional, caring, communicative and really loves animals. I appreciated how good of a listener Ariel was at our meet & greet - she asked great questions and earned my and Sauce’s trust quickly. 🗓️ Schedule: I work full time from home and I try to be flexible on weekends and holidays. If you are a new client, please give 1-3 days of notice so that we can schedule a Meet and Greet before the booking is confirmed!
