Getting to know pups is just a dream come true for me! I love how each dog has their own personality. They can be hilarious and energetic, sweet and cuddly, prim and proper, or any mixture of these. There is never a dull moment with any pup! I currently don’t have a pup of my own, so sitting is a great opportunity for me to dish out some love and cuddles to a pup that’s missing their parents. I’ve always loved to work with dogs, and getting to sit is no exception! I have no pets of my own at the moment, but I’ve almost always been around animals through work and family. It has always been a goal of mine, but I have not been able to foster a dog either. One day I hope to help a pup in need, but I’ll just have to wait on that for a little bit. I have been employed at and volunteered at animal shelters, and at an animal hospital. I have been passionate about all of these occupations and I am always excited to expand my knowledge of pets. Working at the shelters and hospitals has always been a very rewarding experience, and I learned a great deal about working with animals during my times there. I will provide excellent customer service to my human and canine clients by paying close attention to their needs and listening to the things that they want. I will be sure to acknowledge what you me to do and not to do with related to any behaviors or places to go. It is my goal to keep you and your baby happy and stress-free! I’ll be happy to send along regular check-ins by way of picture and text messages so you can know exactly how your pup is doing while you’re away. I know how difficult it can be to be away from your best friend, so I’m here to make that time as easy as possible! To make sure your pup and I will become fast friends, I always like to schedule a meet-and-greet for new clients. I will be sure to play with your pup on their level and be gentle to get acclimated to me. I would let them get as many sniffs of me as needed for them to gain my trust! For meet and greets, it would be nice if the owner brought a few of the dogs favorite treats or toys to make sure that they know I want to be friends. I have no breed preferences, but I would like to know if the owner has special commands that the dog knows or if there are any problems that the dog may have, such as jumping or nipping, that the owner would like for me to be sure to not engage.
