Hello, My Name is Ariel and I am a 26 year old college student and animal lover. While growing up my parents always had dogs. I can't remember a time where we had less than four dogs at once. Its safe to say my family is obsessed with animals. From the time I was sixteen years old until I was nineteen I helped my grandmother run an animal rescue, out of her home, where we housed and rehabilitated various animals including: reptiles, birds, gerbils, cats, and of course dogs. I've helped deliver puppies and kittens as well as nursed abandoned new born kittens and puppies. I know how to administer medications, including shots. I am experienced in working with animals, specifically dogs, who may have mental instabilities like fear or abandonment issues. Many of the animals we rescued were severely beaten, starved, mistreated, and completely distrusting of humans. I also have experience working with elder dogs, dogs with hip or other mobile problems. I am capable of lifting larger dogs and aiding in their movement. I have never worked as a professional sitter but along with my experience at the rescue I have had numerous dogs of my own; a Chihuahua, a Pomeranian, a Cocker Spaniel, an Australian Shepard, a Pit Bull/ Mastiff mix, a Chow/Germain Shepard, and a Xoloitzcuintli. As of right now I have two cats, two chickens, two mice, two snakes, and a two year old daughter, so until I live in a place that allows me to have dogs of my own I'd love to have fun with yours!
