UPDATE (12/12/21 to current) "Goodbye!": For the past 6 years, I have been providing pet care professionally while obtaining my bachelor's and then master's degree. Over the years, I have met so many wonderful clients and come to love their pets and families!! I recently got a job teaching at an elementary school full-time. Therefore, I will unfortunately no longer be able to provide pet care on weekdays (unless your pet is able to be alone for ~8 hours). BUT I'll be available on some weekends and breaks! I am an elementary school teacher with a bachelor's in Spanish and master's degree in Elementary Education. I have been with Rover as a professional pet care provider for 6 years now. Currently, I am saving for student debt, educational materials, and life in general—which are crazy expensive. As for my experience with animals, I have been taking care of dogs and cats (and not just Nintendogs) for at least 16 years now because I've grown up with them my entire life. I enjoy long strolls to intense runs, all depending on your dog's specific needs, as well as providing attention to the cat. I am knowledgeable about how to properly walk with them, spot any potential problems/hazards, and thoroughly enjoy being outside with our best friends. Belly rubs included. In addition, I work really well with anxious dogs. Patience and empathy is key. One of my two dogs, Brooke (who passed away in 2018), had cushing's disease, special dietary needs, and frequent panic attacks. I am well equipped, caring, and knowledgeable about how to care for her, as well as other dogs. I love animals and would be glad to take care of your best friend!
