Pet care experience
Worry less and come home to relaxed pets! My goal is to create a positive worry-free experience for you and your pets. I strive to keep you and your animals as comfortable as possible and develop positive relationships with you both. I have open availability, offer all services, and keep my calendar as updated as possible. I am an animal lover with experience caring for small and large breed dogs, cats, birds, small animals, reptiles, and even farm animals. I promise to treat your babies as if they were my own. I do not have any breed/size preferences or restrictions for care in the owner's home. However, I do live in an apartment so I have some requirements for both boarding and daycare. If you are requesting a boarding or daycare service in my home, I require that the pet be 40 lb or less. All dogs must walk on a leash well, be able to go up and down stairs well, and be comfortable encountering other animals/people on walks as I do not have a private yard. It is also a MUST that all animals I host for boarding or daycare are at least tolerant of other animals (I have my own dog and host more than one dog/family at a time).

Ariel came by and stayed with our fur babies while we had to be out of town for appointments for the day. She kept me updated on how they were doing and they love spending time with her. We will definitely continue to ask her to stay with them or drop in and check on them if we have to be away. She is always on time and very professional.
Ariel was amazing to our fur babies over the weekend. We received detailed updates on them along with pictures and she was very attentive to their needs. If I thought about something while we were gone she answered my messages and there is no doubt that she treated them as if they were her own. We will definitely be booking her again.
Would for sure use Ariel again. She sent a few updates a day with pictures and made us feel super comfortable the whole time we were gone. Very attentive. Super pleased

I take my job very seriously and animal safety is my top priority. I promise to keep your pets not only on their normal routine but in their normal environments (if you book a house sitting). So when we meet I will ask you what a typical day looks like for them. Not only will I take caution around other people and animals while walking your pets, but all walks will be done in an area that your pet is familiar with. If you let me know that you are uncomfortable with me taking your pet for walks while boarding, I completely understand as walks in a new area may stress your pet. However, if walks are permitted by you while boarding I will take them on their daily walks in my own neighborhood as usual. I tend to send twice daily updates with photos (But you may request more if you'd like). I keep you as informed on everything as possible for the entire booking. In a boarding environment I will take even more caution while letting animals outside to potty/walk as I do not have a fenced in yard. This is why I required that all dogs arrive with their own leashes and harnesses and all cats arrive in a cat carrier. All doors to outside of both your home and mine will remain closed and caution will be taken as I enter or leave so that pets cannot run off. I look forward to hearing from you and cannot wait to book! Additional Information: *In terms of house sitting the rate listed is a flat fee to come and go freely (out of the house for anywhere between 6 and 8 hours). If you need to request that I am at the house with the pets more often that can be arranged for an additional cost. As stated previously my constant care rate starts at $100 (additional charges may be added depending on if you have other pets or if a higher level of care is required). *I would LOVE to look after pets that are not dogs or cats but pricing must be discussed through messages at this time as there are no pre-set settings for such currently. *Pricing for overnights can be negotiable if you have a big crew (A big crew to me is more than 5 pets). ✨I offer Boarding overnight and Daycare to pets that weigh less than 40 lbs (as my place is small). I also required that they walk well on a leash, you provide their own leash and a collar or harness, All cats are inside of a cat carrier upon arrival, they go up and down stairs well, and they are okay encountering other people or animals. I will of course reiterate these things in our conversation when I receive a booking request. ✨ *I accept up to 3️⃣ Boarding & Daycare clients at a time and I do not currently offer care for one dog at a time as I have my own. ALL dogs/cats must be good with others (even if they aren't playful they must be able to tolerate). I can accommodate and separate as needed.

Information Ariel C. would like to know about your pet
Before caring for your pet, I would first like to know if they have any health problems or take any medications. Making sure that your pet stays healthy and safe while in my care is the top priority. Secondly, I like to make sure that they stay on their normal schedule, so I will ask you about their routine and what a normal day looks like for them. Animals have their own personalities so I would also like to be aware of any quirks or traits that may be important (This would include things like aggression towards other animals or typical hiding spots if they can be shy). I like to get as much information as possible out of my meet and greets but I do prefer written instructions or notes from the owners as well. Of course, if I have any questions or concerns about your pets behavior before or during a booking, I will also reach out directly to you. If you decide to do a daycare or a boarding I do require these items be brought with you for your pets: *All food/treats that they will need for the entire booking * A leash and harness or collar for all dogs and a carrier for all cats *A litter box for cats * If they are crate trained you will need to provide their crate * Comfort items are allowed: such as beds, blankets, and special toys (our dog has never destroyed anything of her own and we will of course never give her the opportunity to mess up anything of yours). I can provide extra treats (if allowed), bowls for both food and water, and toys for them to play with during the stay if they don't bring any. Anything else not listed is of course up to the owners to provide.
A typical day
All pets in my care receive lots of love and attention. I believe cuddles, walks, and playtime are just as important as bathroom breaks and feeding. I will always go above and beyond to make your pet feel loved while in my care whether you have booked a quick drop-in or walk or a long house sit/boarding. If you decide to board your pet/drop them off for daycare you can guarantee that I will treat them just as I treat my own personal dog. My Shadow loves to go for car rides, walks, and to the dog park. If this is something that you believe your dog would also enjoy, we have no problem having them tag along. My dog also has plenty of treats throughout the day and a special lick mat in the evenings. So I would want to know if your dog has any food restrictions or sensitivities because I wouldn't want them to be left out. They can always join in with her treats, however, if they have sensitivities or restrictions I would definitely need you to provide special treats for them.

Availability
Pet-Care is a full time job for me. My schedule is very flexible and I can accommodate pretty much any daily routine. This truly does make me a great option for pets with a very regimented schedule or even special needs pets who need a little extra care. I can work with any drop-in or walk time both on the weekends and during the week. During an average house sitting it is possible that I may be out of the house for 6 to 8 hours a day. If this does not suit your needs I'm willing to stay at your home a majority of our booking with proper consideration and compensation (this will be discussed before booking). If we book a daycare I will be present for the entire day (unless I had an emergency in which case you would be informed of the situation as soon as possible). For my boarding clients I try to be home as often as I can be. However, I do require that your pets be able to be alone for at least 4 hours so that I can get things done outside of the home. If your pet requires more time/attention (for whatever reason) I do offer a constant care rate. My constant care rate starts at $100 per night and goes up from there with multiple pets or higher needs/special instructions. Constant care can be booked for both in your home sitting and boarding at my home (although generally those who book constant care are doing so because their pet is senior or special needs and prefers to stay at their own home). Overall, I have a very open schedule and keep my calendar updated at least weekly, so I'm sure I can meet whatever your needs are. Please don't hesitate to reach out!
