Pet care experience
My family got our first dog when I was 6 years old. We grew up together, becoming the best of buds! My fiancé and I just adopted our dog, Harris. Harris didn’t have the best upbringing, having been in 3 different houses before the age of 2. He was not cared for and spent 20 hours in his kennel a day. From this we have had to exercise patience, proper techniques to socialize with other dogs, we have taught him manners, as well as, lots of tricks. In the short time we have had him we have been so impressed with the dog he has become!

Aricka is one of the most trusting and dedicated people I have come to know. Her caring and loving personality make her an excellent person to take care of your pet(s). My pets are considered my family and it’s important to find someone I would trust with my family. And Aricka is that someone. Aricka is great with pets! We own a dog together and she loves taking Harris (our golden doodle) on walks and letting him play at the dog park. She taught him a whole bunch of tricks, and loves to spend her free time cuddling him. She brushes his hair and treats him like her own offspring. She is exceptional with pets and loves animals as a whole! Aricka is a tender hearted soul and always has compassion in her heart. Aricka would be perfect for this program as she is the perfect dog mom!

There is a large dog park near my apartment building. My dog, Harris, loves playing with dogs of all sizes. He gets very energetic at first, but calms down after introductions and loves to cuddle. I go on lots of walks with Harris and would love to add extra dogs to the mix! If needed, I can crate your dog. There is one other adult in the house that loves dogs and can give your pet even more attention!

I am open to taking care of all dog breeds! I would like to know your pets likes and dislikes. I also think consistency/routine is very important for animals; providing me with a detailed schedule will keep your pet their happiest!
A typical day
There is a 1 mile paved sidewalk around my apartment complex that can be looped for longer walks. I am within 2 miles of the Sakatah Trail, which could be walked to or driven to. Near my apartment complex there is a large, enclosed dog park, where lots of dogs frequent for socializing! We have an enclosed deck were we can enjoy the outdoors, while relaxing.

Availability
I currently work full time, allowing me to assist in the early mornings and evenings after 4pm. I do not work on the Sundays, giving me opportunity to assist with walks and play time! My schedule will be changing on September 1st. My new schedule will allow me to help out with your dogs in the morning until 2pm. My evening schedule will be pretty flexible, allowing me to be free 6pm and later!
