Pet care experience
Hello my name is Arianna, I am an animal lover and promoter, any animal you call your companion is a friend to me! I am looking to house sit, board and walk dogs. I used to work for a boarding/dog day care in my town for almost 6 months. I walked/ran, bathed, groomed, and gave medications to those prescribed. This kennel specialized in special needs dogs so I have good experience with any and all types of dogs. I used to have a dog of my own a large yellow lab name Koda that I sadly had to put down earlier this year. I hope to help you take care of your dog(s) so you can have one less thing to worry about for time being while it not only is my pleasure to care for your furry friend I feel it would be a great way for me to get out, exercise and heal while surrounded by loyal listeners and cute faces. A list of things I would like to know before caring for your dog would be first obviously there darling name there breed, neutered or spayed, dog friendly or not, potty trained, food aggressive or not, talkative/ loud, obedient or has some training, would be happiest outside or inside for majority of time, and lastly any fears or medical conditions.
A typical day
I am able to take your dog on walks around the block fit for dogs that prefer short walks or I am able to take them to walking trails at Shollenburger park, Helnum Putnam (both locations are in Petaluma) for the more energetic and hyper dogs. I could even take them for a scenic beach trip. I also have a pool so if your dog enjoys swimming and would prefer that over the beach that’s what we will do! If your dog has a particular toy/treat or item they enjoy bring it along or let me know and I can purchase that before hand, we wouldn’t want a sad doggo! I am also capable of doing some obedience training if wanted.
