Your Dog is in Good Paws with Me!
Pet care experience
I’ve helped my parents watch our family dogs since I was 8. When I got older I was eager to help my dad run our bird dog Savage. I would relief the stress from my busy dad of a dog that needs ran multiple times a day. When I graduated from high school my love for dogs grew, so I began watching my dad’s dogs multiple times a week. I’d walk and feed them when needed. I moved here to Pocatello with my boyfriend, and we both fell in love with dog sitting. We watched my Aunts dog who we trained not to be territorial over food and toys, and socialized him when before he wasn’t too fond of being around other dogs. By the time he went home he didn’t feel the need to bite at you when you give him a treat, and loves to play with other dogs. My dog Benji is a shelter dog who was skittish of everyone and super territorial over our home. However, with positive reinforcement he was soon to be the sweetest and most welcoming dog you’d ever meet. I now walk and watch multiple dogs a week and have such an insight for their needs. My passion for bettering dogs or nurturing those who are well off grows everyday.
Reviews
She was great. Helped me find someone else since she is heading to somewhere new to do some work.
Ariann is GREAT! We were recently gone for 6 days and she went above and beyond to make sure our dogs were so well cared for. She sent lots of updates and she even did a few extra things for us as she was house/dog sitting that we didn't even expect but it demonstrates how thoughtful she is. Even our dog who is *very* picky about people loves Ariann. I can whole-heartedly recommend her and I think our dogs would, too, if they could talk.
Ariann is great. She's friendly, professional, and dependable, and both of our dogs love her! Even our dog who is picky about people. We're so happy to have found her!
Ariann did a fantastic job caring for our pup through drop-in visits while I had to be away working. I recommend her!

My apartment is small, so house sittings over boarding is preferred. When I stay in your home, I treat your home better than my own. I care for your loved one as I do my own. I make sure your pup gets fed and taken care of in the morning and evening with lots of play and attention as well. During the day I take your pup on either a long walk, to the dog park, or just a good play session in the living room depending on the preferences you and your fur baby have. No matter the needs of your baby, I’ll be sure they’re left having a fun and content time in my care. I make sure everyone is safe and well cared after by requesting detailed and written instructions on the amount of food, meds, and everything else I’ll need to know to care for your pup and home. I also require an emergency contact and vet number for emergencies. No matter the situation, I have your fur baby’s best interest and safety at heart.

Information Ariann M. would like to know about your pet
The most important information to know before taking on any job is whether your dog is good with other dogs, and if they’re vaccinated and spayed/neutered. The other information I will need depends on the job. Drop in visits and house sittings I will need to know their feeding/medication schedule, how long they can be left in the house alone at a time, and their walking, play and attention preference (do they go to the dog park, or leashed walks, how long of a walk do they need, do they prefer more play or attention, etc). For weekly dog walks I’ll need to know, of course including whether your dog does good with other dogs, if they do good on or off leash. If you’d prefer the dog park or a leashed walk. How long of a walk you’ll need each day.
A typical day
I can take your dogs to the dog park and Bartsfield to give them a neutral, off leash experience if that’s what you’re okay with. I can bring balls or frisbees to play with, and my boy Benji loves to play with other dogs big or small he’s a social butterfly. Fenced in dog parks are also a favorite of both mine and Benjis for those wild characters out there! If you’re not comfortable or don’t like dog parks, Benji and I also love to go for leashed walks. Whether the walk is on a path in town such as Sacajawea Park or down Kraft Road, or hikes on Cherry Springs or Gibson Jack- Benji and I are just down for the ride! If staying home and playing in the backyard w a ball, or tug a war in the house is their preferred exercise I am very flexible with the needs of my clients. I have also done all of the above for previous clients so the possibilities are endless. You name it, and I’ll do it!
