Hi there! My name is Arianeh, but you can call me Ari for short :) I'm just a really big-hearted person who loves animals, and wants to help you out with whatever your pack needs! I know just how important it is to feel comfortable with who you are trusting to petsit your loved ones. The length and depth of my profile is to help ease your worries, but please feel free to contact me at any time with any questions or concerns you may have. The two most valuable things I offer in addition to overall high quality care is training and loads of pet health related knowledge! I absolutely love to communicate with and train dogs using positive reinforcement. This is something that has always come naturally to me, and it is just the way I approach all dogs. So not only will you get someone who will shower your baby with love, but you will also get a caregiver with years of training experience! My pet care + training + extensive knowledge about animal health ensures your fur baby’s happiness and your peace of mind that they’re in great hands. I have my own 16.5 year old baby boy, Dexter, whom I love like a son (seriously). Check him out on IG: @dexterthewonderdog! His amazing story of cheating death (TWICE!) might give a little glimpse into who I am as a person and the strong bond I have for animals: I rescued Dexter from a fraudulent backyard breeder when he was only 7 weeks old. The night I got him, I had to take him to a 24 hour vet care where he was diagnosed with Parvo and other health issues. Even though all of the doctors told me to just put him down, I refused. After 13 long and hard days, he miraculously made it though! Fast forward to 8 years later, he was diagnosed with cancer. Once again we faced a life threatening condition, but I stood by his side and we came out on top ❤️ He's now a super healthy, cancer free 16.5 year old pup enjoying life :D Between my own baby boy’s loads of health hurdles we conquered, and my years of animal care experience, I have tons of knowledge in all things related to dog health. I always share my knowledge with my pet parents so that your fur baby is as healthy, happy and safe as they could possibly be. When your pet is with me in my home, you never have to worry about your loved one being alone for long periods of time, as I have a home office and my schedule allows me to give extra attention to the animals all day, ensuring the highest quality of care. Whether at my home or yours, I will adhere to your pet’s own schedule and your preferences as far as their feeding, activity and schedule needs go. Generally, I will take the dogs out on at least two walks per day, and I make sure to let them out at least 2-3x more. I also love taking the fur babies to the gorgeous dog Centrum Dog park we have in our neighborhood. For housesitting and longer care, with your prior approval, I love taking the doggos out for a beautiful hike or to the beach to give them new sights, smells, and adventures to remember! You will have peace of mind knowing your pet won’t feel lonely while you’re away. I will make them feel like my home is their home away from home, or just as comfortable in their own home while you are away. Your fur baby will be pampered, loved, and fully spoiled with attention, snuggling up on the couch and bed (again, with your permission). I always send lots of videos and photos of their stay, and make sure you feel comfortable and connected the entire vacation ❤️ As far as the type of pets I petsit -- pretty much any and all! I don't discriminate between breeds, because that's just silly :) My only limitation right now is size and potty training for overnight boarding in my home. However, if you want me to come to your home and watch your pet, I am more than ok with any size or age! I am also comfortable and have experience working with all temperaments and special health needs, including diabetic pets that need insulin shots, oral medication, eye drops/ointment, paw butter, teeth brushing, etc. I will always make sure your fur baby has fresh water and are fed according to their own schedule and needs. Apple and carrots are a fan favorite! Let me know if your dog has special feeding and diet concerns, and also feel free to give me their favorite treats, too!
