Hello, and welcome my profile! It’s nice to meet you. My name is Ariane, but sometimes I go by Ari. I currently work from home, and I have found pet sitting to be very therapeutic & accessible. I view being a dog sitter on Rover to be more of passion than a job! Rover allows me to use my experience of going up with dogs & working at dog shelters to use! While dogs are the main focus, listening and communicating with you as owners is very important to me. I am skilled with communication, organization, motivated, passionate and caring. Dogs have always been a huge part of my life and would love to help yours.

Ariane kept my black lab, Bentley, for 10 days while I had to fly home for a work trip. We live in a van full time and travel, so Bentley is used to small spaces and a certain level of freedom to run, and Ariane did a fantastic job taking care of her! Took her on multiple walks per day, and allowed her to cuddle up on her sofa, and sent pictures and updates along the way. It was my first time being separated from Bentley for this amount of time, and Ariane made me feel very comfortable knowing Bentley was safe and comfortable. The pictures were a huge plus. I loved seeing Bentley looking relaxed and happy the whole week. Thanks Ariane!
Ariane was a great sitter for our dog over a long weekend. She kept us informed of how he was doing and handled some of his more challenging behavior with aplomb.
Ariane did an amazing job carrying for my senior pup! Blue had a great stay with her and she went out of her way to make sure my dog felt really comfortable. Highly recommend!

Ariane has dog sat for me many times, and I have full trust in her abilities. She is constantly sending me adorable photos of my dogs but also other cute & funny TikTok’s about dogs. She is very kind, loyal, empathetic and trustworthy. You will not have to worry about your pet in her care.

To create a safe environment for your dog, I try to establish a trusting relationship. It can be a very scary time for them because their people are away. I have a lot of experience with dogs that deal with separation anxiety. I like to think I live in a nice area of Seattle, and live in a nice apartment. I keep a clean, tidy, and safe home that is comfortable for any dogs.

Ahead of time, please let me know if your dog has any behavioral issues wether that’s around people, other dogs, food, etc. I want the safest environment for your dog, to insure an anxiety free visit or stay while you are gone. Please let me know if there’s specific things that your dogs enjoy, like specific treats, belly rubs, toys, etc!
A typical day
I work from home so I usually have a lot more freedom and independence with my own schedule. I can easily care for and interact with your dogs! My building has a nice grassy outdoor area designated for pets, and there are parks within walking distance!

Availability
I currently work from home in Seattle Washington. Pet sitting has been very therapeutic for me since I cannot have my own dog at this point of my life, and since I’ve grown up with multiple dogs as a child, it’s very comforting. I tend to only offer doggie boarding at my home since it’s just easier for me to work from home in my own space.
