I have experience with injecting insulin on smaller breeds. I would prefer to do so with dogs that are familiar with their injections if needed on bigger breeds.
A typical day
Fun activities I usually do will be long stimulating walks where there is obedience training done. As well as walks that combine obedience as well as with sniffing. I like to fill up a kong with treats to keep the pet busy.

At my other part time job, I am able to pick what hours I would like to work for the week. Which grants me with extra time and availability on the days I decide to not work.
