I’ve used this sitter only once before because she had great reviews, and our dog seemed happy and normal when we picked him up, but that was not the case this second time. We were out of town for 4 days. For that long period you expect to get updates but I only heard from her a couple times and the second time was only because I asked about him since I hadn’t heard anything. We picked him up tonight, and he couldn’t wait to get out of there. My husband went to the door to get him and said that they were having a party and had clearly locked all the dogs up in a separate room. Apparently they were without water and hadn’t been let out because when I pulled up to our apartment after picking up, he literally jumped out the car window and into the grass because he had to poop and pee so badly. When we got him upstairs, he was dying of thirst we couldn’t pull him away from his water bowl. My dog is unhappy which makes me unhappy, and you can bet I will never be using this sitter again.

For people that just moved to the city and needed a dog-sitter last minute, Yovan was such a great option. Our flights got canceled on the weekend we were booked because of the Nor'Easters, but Yovan was so accommodating and was more than happy to reschedule for the following weekend. She sent pictures of our pup while we were gone, worked with our pick up and drop off times, and Jake was very happy when we picked him up. Would definitely use again for overnight trips!
