I'm comfortable with any breed. I grew up around a large Golden Retriever and huge Rhodesian Ridgeback, and I spent a lot of time playing with the Bernese Mountain Dog next door. I'm fine with small dogs too, but larger dogs are my preference. I'd like to know if your dog has ever bitten anyone or been aggressive, of course. We can probably work around it if they have, but if the dog has bitten a human and caused serious injury, that's another story altogether. I'm fine with Pit Bulls, German Shepherds, Rottweilers, and all the other dogs that get bad reputations. Some of my favorite dogs have been German Shepherds, and one notable wolf-dog. I'd like to know what training your dog has and what you're comfortable with me asking them to do. It's fine if your dog doesn't know 'sit' or 'stay', but I want to know before I ask them to do these things!

I love taking walks! I know some great places to go walking in the Oakland Hills, and there are plenty of bike trails, including the Iron Horse trail, closer to where I live. I'm happy to take your dog to the dog park if you like, or take your dog on a long and happy jaunt by the sea. Personally, I don't think wet dog smells stinky at all! There's nothing more charming than watching a happy up play in the surf. Off-leash, on-leash, I'm comfortable with both! If you've got a tennis ball and your pup's the type to enjoy a good game of fetch, I'm your girl. I have almost as much stamina as they do! More, if they look at me with that big grin!
