**PET CARE EXPERIENCE: Hi there! :) Are you looking for a vacation for your pup with a sweet gentle giant pupper to keep your dog company, a stress-free environment that is cage free, cozy, able to roam in a doggie paradise full of 100 dog toys, lay on plenty of comfy spots, have doggie movie fun time, a yard to run around, fun lake and trail adventures, and get all the love and attention they need? Then look no further. :) I speak Spanish and English. I am LLC licensed and insured pet sitter that does both overnight stays and daycare. Me & my boyfriend Ryan own a beautiful home with a nice big Fenced yard in Lake Villa, IL. I have 20+ years experience and specialize with dogs, cats, reptiles, dog training and animal behavior expertise (aggression, shy, nervous, anxious behaviors etc..), worked as an animal care specialist at an animal shelter, vet assistant at a vet clinic, manager & lead dog handler at daycare/boarding facilties, head dog walker and ambassador. I'm experienced with all breeds, all sizes, all temperaments. I am a positive reinforcement force-free reward based trainer that enjoys boarding, playing, and walking dogs. I do not use nor recommend the use of bark collars, choke chains, nor prong collars. I do not use fear, force, pain nor intimidation either. I use love and respect and guide every dog in a gentle manner and encourage and reward the good desire behaviors with lots of praise and affection. If they love something extra special I will use that as rewards. I will provide the best care and love for your dog and they will come back home happy. (P.s- they might not want to come back home from all the fun they had haha.) I do have one dog at home and other clients dogs as well so your dog must be okay with other dogs for boarding and must be okay and well socialized with people as well since your dog will be under my care. I do sometimes have timid dog's As long as they are not a risk liability to any other dogs or people then I'm okay in having them over. I make sure all dogs in my care will be safe with other dog's and other people before I accept them. My dog is super sweet and well behaved and loves dogs, people, cats, kids, everything! she is a spayed female 7 year old rescue cane corso (italian mastiff) I work with your budget if need be and I also have reference of past clients upon request. :)

Arelys is a 12 star pet sitter! She went above and beyond while caring for our pup, Betty. Betty is a senior rescue that has been with me a little over a year and is very bonded to me. I was concerned that she would have a hard time but Arelys was perfect with her. She sent photos to me to show how Betty was settled on the couch and seemed just fine.
Arelys really took care of my 8 yr old dog during his stay there with her. This was the first time he went away from us after a long gap of 3 yrs starting with pandemic. He used to be fine with bunch of other dogs around before but didn’t know that he lost that touch. Thank you Arelys for understanding his behavior and keeping him separate from other dogs. I love having Winnie in Arelys' care (and so does Winnie). There is always a pup friend to play with, and lots of toys, cuddles and love. Arelys treats each pet she watches as if they were her own. She is also super communicative - always sending pictures and and updates. Honestly, I've used Arelys before and will continue to use her. She's the best.

**SAFETY, TRUST, & ENVIRONMENT: My dog offers company and your pups hanging with me is more of a vacation. A home based boarding/daycare place is less stressful than a facility where it is loud and scary and dogs fall very ill from stress and can display behavioral issues from high anxiety. Such as a home setting is more in what dogs are used to and have a place to lounge, relax, play, and will be calm and quiet enjoying their time away from home. I'm aware that accidents can happen especially new dogs and I'm prepared to arrange a better potty and walk schedule for them as they adjust. I do have other clients dog's here at times but I know pretty much everyone under my care and I am very experienced in matching the right fit dog's. Each dog gets an assessment and temp test at our meet and greet before I confirm. They can't show any aggression towards me, my boyfriend, nor my dog or during their stay. Some dogs may need more space and time to adjust and I have a separate free roaming room and baby gated area if need be to keep everyone safe and separated especially when I'm taking them for walks in pairs but I rarely had to do any of that as they all learn to be good pals and coexist peacefully as you can see on my pictures. :) if for any reason your dog isn't adjusting well and is a risk to any other dogs or people I'll let you know and we can discuss options. Behaviors don't always show up right away until they are settled in and comfortable to show their true personalities. There is no reason to worry about early pick up if the stay isn't working out as I am experienced enough to keep them seperated and safe but most likely they will not be a good fit for future stays due to safety reasons. I have cozy crates as well and my cozy room if any dog needs a break from doggies or if they are too overwhelmed they have a safe spot to relax if they want to. I make sure their experience is pleasant and enjoyable and fun! Some take a little too warm up especially if they are not used to being away from owners. They get extra extra attention, love, and reassurance. It doesn't take long for them to realize "wow! This is fun and relaxing" I do send tons of cute pics/video updates as I always want you to feel at ease and know your dog is in safe hands and having such a good time. I keep all room doors closed including the bathroom and I have the baby gates blocking the main kitchen area. All they have access is the whole living room and my room. I have water bowls out that I change multiple times throughout the day and everyone is fed separated never together for safety. All of my bowls, toys, beds, bedding gets sanitized and washed after each new dog visit. My whole home is doggie/puppy proof as well and I have big dog couch that at some point ends up being a pile of pups all napping with each other lol.

PLEASE READ BEFORE BOOKING WITH ME!! * All dog's must be spayed/neutered. Fully vaccinated for (distemper, rabies, Bordetella, canine flu etc..) and have a clear fecal sample, on flea tic preventatives and heartworm preventatives. THEY CAN'T HAVE ANY MEDICAL ISSUES THAT NEED EXTRA MEDICAL CARE ASSISTANCE OR HAVE ANYTHING CONTAGIOUS. Those dogs will be best be boarded at a vet unfortunately or an at home dog sitter at your home qualified for medical. *I do require a meet and greet which are done briefly to see how your dog acts with me and my dog and discuss further to make sure they are a good fit for us. All meet and greets are done outside and Not in my home. Be aware even if our meet and greet went well doesn't guarantee that they will be fine sharing the home with other dogs. I do my best to help them all coexist and monitor their behaviors towards anything they are all sharing and make arrangements accordingly and most likely won't be able to have future sittings with me due to any concerning behaviors that may be of any risk. *Must be able to drop off and pick up in Lake Villa, IL. (Special pickup/drop off arrangements can be made with extra fee if we are available to do so if planned ahead of time) *DO NOT RING MY DOORBELL. I also do not allow owners to come inside my home. Both for safety reasons and it is my home not a facility to give tours. I have other dogs under my care and it will riled up the dogs , excite them, or get them too anxious and I do not want anything to happen. I'll take care of calmly and safely introducing them to the other doggie friends and my home. Please text me when you are on the way and approx time of arrival. I'll keep on the lookout but text when arrive. *I do not support nor walk a dog with prong, choke chain, nor shock collars and no bark collars of any kind nor walk a dog in a retractable leash under my care. Please Provide a harness (front chest lead like the freedom harness or easy walk harness) or just their regular flat collar and a regular 4-6 foot long leash (no retractables). I do have extra harness and gentle leaders for appropriate dogs. *I do not board dogs that have aggression nor towards people and/or dogs. (especially resource guarding, terrorital aggression, snappy behaviors etc..) *I need to know any behavioral issues and if they have stayed at a strangers home beforehand *I also have a dog at home, and more than 1 dog to care for as well from other clients and my bf that lives with me. All Dog's must be okay with dogs as well and properly socialized with people ( some behaviors can be worked on for fearful timid dog's but they can't display any snappy wanting to bite behaviors towards any dog nor people) I am good about giving dog's space and working with them if need be. But they can't be a risk either. *Any other concerns to watch out for during the stay please let me know in advance to avoid any incidents and to set up the home appropriately. *If they are crate trained that is a plus but not necessary I'll be always home unless doing errands/dinner gatherings nearby which then certain dogs will be crated while away to avoid accidents, incidents with dogs, or any destructive behavior while they aren't supervised. I do keep an eye on the doggie cam if I need to step away. * Dogs are allowed to be free roaming in my home under my supervision cage free. I have a fence yard where they can potty, play, and enjoy the great outdoors. For bedtime depending on the dog some will be crated. The rest can sleep at night where they want in the home that are house trained and house broken. *I will like to know also how the dog acts being left alone and items being shared with another dog or people. Any issues with Barking, whining, anxiety, destruction , etc... How is the dog on the leash? Any resource guarding with toys or food etc.. with people or dogs present.. or any aggression triggers *I do teach your dog simple manners such as waiting politely to enter or leave doors, I teach no barking, stay, settle, wait politely for meal times, etc.. All positive reinforcement training and give you some tips and advice as well anytime.
A typical day
**OUR TYPICAL DAY: We have movie cuddle time, Play time, long sniff and explore walking time, I have a big Fenced yard , dog park nearby, and a nice lake to hangout at. They get massages, belly rubs, maybe learn a fun trick or two, and anything your dog loves doing I will provide. :) They will learn basic manners and basic impulsive control such as remaining calm before going through doors, mealtime, controlling jumping and barking, etc...

**SCHEDULE: I'm a full time dog sitter for boarding and daycare at my home. I am always home to care and spend time with the fur-babies. Every dog goes out at least 3 times a day. *Morning outside time between 6a.m-7a.m and then breakfast right after. *Afternoon outside time between 12-2p.m *Dinner between by 4-6 pm *Last evening outside time by 8-10 pm Special arrangements can be done depending on age and needs and I can also do every 2-4 hours potty breaks just let me know and I can work on a special schedule for your pup. :) I take into consideration age, breed, and how the weather is and keep them safe from too much cold exposure or severe heat exposure. Potty breaks will be brief for severe weather purposes. GROOMING: Per request before you book your stay: I can give your doggie a bath during their stay with me for an additional fee (not a separate services) they must be already staying with me if he/she is okay in being handled safely and no allergies or issues with shampoos. Also they will only be toweled dried as I do not have a blow dryer or any grooming tools. I have basic brushes and scented shampoos/waterless shampoo sprays I do after their bath and are let air dry so they will be a little damp. But wanted to make sure they don't go home stinky for long stays. I spritz them up with a nice scenting doggie perfume after their visit. :)
