If these things are an issue, then another pet sitter is for you. :) I am a culturally conscious sitter, safe for LGTBQ+, & people of all races, backgrounds, spiritual practices, and identities. _______________________________________________ My qualifications are not limited to a lifetime of private care and a love of animals: I am a seasoned professional dog handler from a nationally unprecedented NYC, off-leash, dog socialization/adventure camp, now available in Mount Pleasant for the holiday/new years season. I have also operated independently as a professional pet & house sitter (dogs, cats, farm animals, etc) for 8 years. I am accustomed to working w & caring for 100s of dogs of all breeds & temperaments a week, as well as rehabilitating rescues & being responsible for off-leash socialization & safety, hiking canine groups of up to 30, 10 miles a day in the northern woodland elements. Also experienced in feline care & behavior. Many references available from loyal, happy clients & managers. I am the option if you’re looking for well seasoned, reliable, detail oriented care that isn’t just about making extra pocket cash. DETAILS: Animals in my care are doted on, connected to personally, become temporary members of my pack, & are treated like my own. My OVERNIGHT RATES: include full coverage of pets & home from PM to AM with outings & particulars. In home care is based on specifications, desires, and wishes of clients to create the most supported, normalized, and least stressful environment for your pets (often for longer stays overnights are the least stressful to normalize routine and company). If unexpected issues arise I consult and inform pet owners, and prioritize the animals' wellness based on their individual situation and needs, these kinds of things can range from a bramble stuck on a paw to trips to emergency care at 3AM. My first priority is the well being of the animals, but I also prioritize sustaining a stress free, enjoyable travel for my human clients entrusting me to care for their loved ones so they have to think & worry about it as little as possible. *Please note re: Rover's profile details, I have basic canine first aid training, but am not yet certified in CPR*

Itinerary/needs are the most important. I also request an honest verbal background of dog's training, socialization history, and idiosyncrasies with both people and other dogs/animals (this is a judgement free zone! But important for pup's activities and safety). I have a weakness for rough mischievous players, dramatic wild breeds (huskies, shibas, heelers, aussies), and the scrappy charmers, and ADORE working with nervous dogs and bringing them out of their shell.
A typical day
Depending on temperament, preferences, & duration of our time together I am more than happy to take dogs to off-leash dog parks (for up to multiple hours). Dogs will be walked and/or played with wherever you & pup prefer. If possible I always prefer to take dogs to green/natural spaces.
