April is a dog-whisperer. Boris, a young Siberian Husky, had only been with us for a few months. He was a very skittish rescue dog, terrified of many things and people, but especially of my husband. I had to be out of town for a month and felt great trepidation leaving Boris with anyone because of his high anxiety. When I took Boris to meet April, she immediately put my mind at ease. It was obvious that her life is dedicated, in large part, to caring for animals. And Boris warmed up to her pretty quickly, and was even willing to be petted by her fiance, Tim. So a week or two later, I sadly told Boris goodbye, and got on a plane. April sent daily updates and photos. I could see from the photos that Boris was obviously enjoying himself greatly! I missed him so much, but was very happy that he was having a really good time while I was away. The best surprise, though, was when I returned. Boris was happy to see me. (He didn't forget me, as I had feared!) We chatted with April for a while, then loaded Boris up and took him home. That was when I really started to see a huge difference in Boris. Before I left him with April, he was really nervous, and as I said, terrified of my husband. All I can say is that the dog I picked up was almost a different dog. He was so much more relaxed. Much more playful. And best of all, no longer cowering and running away from my husband! All I can figure is that April loved him so much that he lost most of his fear. I've never seen such a transformation. He just continues to improve. Thank God for April! I recommend her highly and will definitely use her services again. It was the best experience we could possibly have.

I can't say enough great things about April. It's a little scary leaving your dog with a stranger. April was extremely accommodating. We brought our dog to say hello prior to the stay. She then sent me pictures of my dog and kept us updated while I was away. My dog has now slept for 24 hours straight from having such a great time playing with the other dogs. I would HIGHLY recommend leaving your dog with April while you are away. You will feel at ease and she's extremely affordable!!
