Small dog sanctuary! (Under 30 lbs)
Pet care experience
I’ve cared for my oldest fur baby for 10 years now and have added another two to our house on the last couple years. I’ve been a Rover sitter off and on since 2016 and have always cared for friend and family pets too. I love being a sitter to have friends for my furbabies to play with, and extra pups for me to snuggle with!

April is amazing with Keena and Mylo. They love going back each time. They have been back 3 times in the last few months and already have our next vacation booked with April. We’ve definitely found a go to sitter who treats our pups like their own.
April Olsen did an amazing job watching my little Shih Tzu, Daisy! She invited me to see her home and let me watch Daisy get comfortable before I left her for the night. While I was gone, she stayed in constant contact and sent pictures and videos. Daisy was very happy and relaxed at her home. I would highly recommend April to watch your fur babies. She treats them like they are her own.
April was amazing with our pups. They typically seem skeptical about being left rovers homes. Showed otherwise. We’re so happy they were loved and Skier honest
April took wonderful care of my sweet dogs. She sent daily pictures, videos, and detailed updates! It was so nice knowing my dogs were in good hands and I will definitely use her again!

I am very attentive to your pet's needs and focus my care on what I observe - whether they need extra love when they are anxious about mom/dad leaving or need extra play time to get their energy out. My furbabies have free-range of the house at all times, and yours will too. Someone (my boyfriend and/or I) will always be home with the pups, during each stay. Pups are allowed on all furniture.

Please note that, due to the small size of our pups, we can only accept dogs 30 lbs and under! Meet-and-greets are strongly recommended, to ensure the safety of both parties. I cannot accept any aggressive breeds or any dogs that snarl over toys and food. I must know of any dietary restrictions, sleeping habits, medications or health issues, any restrictions to excersize and excessive separation anxiety!
A typical day
Our dogs love to play with toys, wrestle and chase each other inside the house and out. There’s also a nice shaded trail within walking distance to get extra energy out and for mental stimulation. We love just snuggling on the couch too!

I am home during the day and am available regularly to cater to your pup’s needs. I am happy to stick to the routine they are used to for feedings, potty breaks and playtime!
