I am a 26 year old massage therapist/drafting and design graduate. I worked for over 4 years as a dog bather at Paws Palace Grooming Shop and I still pick up shifts there. My duties included bathing, nail trimming, pads, teeth brushing, blow drying and brushing out tangles. It's a very fun job and it's great getting to love on the dogs throughout the process. Some need a little coaching and extra care in the bath (because water can be scary!) Along with having my own dog for 16 years and working at a dog grooming shop I have plenty of experience around and caring for dogs young and elderly. Being a massage therapist, my special skills would be that I am very patient and seem to have a calming effect through touch. My dog of 16 years passed last year and in her old age I really came to enjoy the responsibility of caring for a senior dog. Their little gray faces warm my heart!
